So from what I've heard and read about the Sligo match, the only consistency Limerick FC managed to show was the erratic behaviour of our chairman Danny Drew. We are definitely underachieving on the pitch this season :(

They didn't show it but he kicked one of our players and then knocked the red card out of the ref's hand :mad:Quote:

I can't get over the turnaround in Donnellan's temperment this year. He used to be this meek, quite guy who the Whyte's used to keep an eye out for on the pitch. This year he's suddenly turned into a bit of a maverick. I wouldn't be too harsh on him with the sending-off. The ref gave him no protection throughout and he wasn't having his best game anyway and the frustration got the better of him. If he can rein in his aggression and learn from this it won't have been a bad thing.
How many games will he be suspended for? I presume he will miss dublin city game too?
depends on the severity / leniency of the referees report. Boils down to whether the refs interpretation was whether the card got slapped out of his hand (prob a minimum 3 games) or whether it was borne out of hand waving frustration (1 game).
I'd say the latter....
Speaking of slaps, that bloke who was guised as a referee for the monaghan game would want a few (light) slaps to open up his eyes, IMO.
Who were the guys with the big Limerick flag behind the goals in Sligo?
Why that was gael353, Lim til I die, some guy called Rob, my brother and I. A more handsome crew has yet to be seen in that part of the world. :)Quote:
