Telfer won't be first choice so I couldn't care whether he's crap or not. :) ATM, Agathe, Irvine and Virgo are all injured so there's no right back at the club. Craig Beattie (a striker) had to play there against Porto. Telfer will fill in that position and also fill in the holding midfield role in the SPL when Lennon needs a break. The SPL is a poor standard so he'll obviously have no problem with it. Thats what ****** have been missing, strength in depth to give the better players a break.
Hopefully Nakamura signs anyway. Japanese Newspaper Nikkan Sports say he signed already and it will be announced tomorrow.
Try as I might I can't get enthused about the new season. I'll actually be disappointed when it starts all over again, believe it or not. I like my summers off...
:ball: PP
why can't you say ******??
Somehow I doubt a starvation diet is going to help him beef up...Quote:

How can they put Reid in the starting 11 and not robbie there r so many better players than Reid and they are most probably fit I stil feel that Reid could do with losing a few pounds.

I don't know how much faith I'd put in those Premiership preview teams (or skysports.com in general for that matter) they have Elliott as the most likely top score for Sunderland and Borgetti (sp?) as most likely top scorer for Bolton, yet both are omitted from the respective club's likely starting XI!!
Its only the likely XI for the first game of the season as Davids has been removed from the Spurs one.Quote:
