Great display by Liverpool last night. Finnan, apart from one lapse of concentration, was brilliant. One of Liverpool's most consistent players all season and by far the best right full Ireland has at the moment. Great to see Cisse back from his horrific injury. Didn't see enough of him at the start of the season and I remain to be convinced Baros and him will make a effective partnership but it will give the club a lift and Benitez some more options.
I think they have every chance against Chelski. All the games this season between the two were pretty close affairs. I thought a draw would have been a fairer result in both Premiership matches but Chelski deserved to win the League Cup final. With Alonso and Gerrard fit to play I see no reason was LIverpool can't go further in this competition.
