I guess if we're not going to be allowed into the social club :( we may as well stop en route for a jar and to stretch the legs. No point in being stood in the stand at Portadown at 5.30, probably wouldn't be anyone there to let us in. I guess the lads would have to clear it with the bus driver first though.

I'd recommend Newry for a stop off & a few jars if yous' come that way.
Plenty of bars & the Canal Court Hotel (sponsor of Newry City) right in the middle of town. Roughly 30-40 minutes to Portadown.
Or if you do come by Armagh, the Armagh City Hotel would be fine aswell, 20-30 minutes to Shamrock Park.
