The reason Celtic fans are so worked up about this is because most of us who have been watching Celtic over the years think he is the best thing to come through the club since King Kenny!
btw Im not calling for Kerr's head I just think that he deserved his shot tonight.
He's right, Kerr must go
Forget the fact we're top of our world cup group unbeaten. That means NOTHING ;)
He didn't play the celtic player. How dare he!!! HE MUST GO
Reid showed last night that he's either uninterested or not ready for a full 90 minutes of International football.Quote:

Liam Miller was the only fringe player who impressed last night.
Maybury did ok and played the right ball for Morrisson when he scored.
Brian Kerr can't be blamed when the players just aren't up for it.
Right let me clarify this post.
I was round the pub watching the game last night and probably had one or two too many.
Aiden McGeady is an awesome football player. He's played at a highest level of football in the Champions League giving a MOTM performance against AC Milan. He deserves to be in the Ireland squad!
Just because he plays in the SPL doesn't make him a bad player. Imagine the Swede's thought like that and never played Henrik Larsson who has scored in FOUR major Championships?
McGeady has more natural ability than anyone in the ROI squad including Damin Duff IMO. If you can't give him a chance at home to China when can you give him his break?
And as for Miller getting on ahead of him... Don't even get me started!
Kerr is far too cautious and cares more about results in meaningless friendlies than he does about the development of his players.
I can't wait to get a chance to boo him and Liam Miller when they comes to Celtic Park for the Jackie Mac's testimonial!
PS. I'm not a part timer and went to Amsterdam & Hampden to see the Bhoys in Green in action! :D

I think McGeady deserved his chance last night from what i have seen of him so far. But for Kerr to be sacked i reckon was just a hot headed reaction to not seeing McGeady play.
It could also be that maybe Martin O Neill had a word with Brian on not playing McGeady? ;) From what i have read ONeill doesn't want McGeady rushed into playing too many games this early in his career.
You're booing those who represent your country's team for no good reason. If you dislike them that much, stay at home and watch Celtic DVDs.Quote:

No good reason? How does Brian "I always had a soft spot for Rangers" Kerr and Liam "Judas" Miller sound?Quote:

some e-mails are alittle knee-jerk here, but it was a very disappointing end to the Spring game for ROI teams, bringing on Roy Keane and Gary Doherty were poor decisions, lets face it everyone wanted to see McGeady get at least 45 minutes in a MEANINGLESS friendly,(when is kerr going to relise that friendlies don't haveplayed with such caution).
Back to an earlier thread i posted here, another meandering directionless game from the Irish particularly in the second half (a recurring trend), does Kerr but sedatives in the players tea at halftime???
You boo the Irish manager and an Irish player for Celtic reasons...Mate, you're not worth arguing with. I don't think too many here will beg you to attend another Ireland match.Quote:

OK poster lets hear it - you want Kerr out obviously! So who, in your expert opinion would you suggest replace him??
And for the record I too believe it scandalous that McGeady didnt get at least an hour last night. I also have a soft spot for Celtic. But what this post is suggesting is insane. Its a real English press style attack on Kerr and the team. I dont like it.
I suggest we offer the job on a part time basis to Martin O'Neill. Should he reject I'd give it to Packie Bonner.Quote:

Out of respect for the forum, I won't verbally attack the poster. But I fear that he's taking the mick and doing that trolling thing.
It was the Packie Bonner suggestion that confirmed it for me. Even the big man himself would tell you to p*ss off!
Couldn't be bothered reading this thread anymore, McGeady10's posts are just idiotic, too much work to do for this rubbish...
