Cork for the Setanta!!!!
In fairness he won some great headers and had a few decent tackles although he looked a bit shaky, especially trying to run the ball out of defence. Sometimes hes actually better off hoofing it!!Quote:

Here Here..... Cant believe some people like to call themselves supporters with the amount of slaggin that goes on. Is there any other team that has fans on this website, that like to slag their players and other fans for that matter as much as cork city fans do.
SUPPORT
To argue in favor of;
To endure; tolerate,
To hold in position so as to keep from falling,
To bear the weight of, especially from below
Let this be a lesson to all of you who like to call themselves Supporters and then slag off your own club........
Let me bookmark this for future reference, Charles, just for you. ;)Quote:

No, we can't, but Shels got lots of decisions their way and Gamble's red was IMO unjustified also.Quote:

Why would the thug try to bop him at that stage, when it was Georgie who would probably want to retaliate?Quote:

2. The Shed sang their throats out.
3. Michael Devine did not have to make a save all night.
4. Glen Crowe jogging around for an hour, not doing much, then getting subbed. :D Dream team my a r s e.
5. Williams, a really good keeper, being beaten three times in the second half; the goal, the disallowed goal, and Doyler's header onto the bar.
6. (My favourite!) The faces of the Shels players when they realised that the ref was NEUTRAL.
The negatives
1. Regardless of how well Dan played for much of the game, you can not afford to lose possession when you are a defender. Captain or not, I think he has to go.
2. The build up to kick-off was muted.
3. My fellow Donie Forders were very quiet, even by their own hushed standards. :(
4. The size of the crowd. Another 3000 would probably have come out if the sun was shining. Not calling them sunshine supporters, . . . Actually I am.
5. The whistles in the shed were really off-putting. I can't understand why the stewards allowed this to go on. It could easily have affected players too.
anybody see at one stage in the second half a ball came down the wing...irs obvious dan called "dans ball" coz city players moved leaving dan on his own..then he jumped to head it and totally missed...WTF.Quote:

He's had a shaky start this season but we still haven't lost a match, only conceded 1 goal and we beat Shels for the first time since Nov. 2002!! I don't think you're statement stands up thecorner nor is it helping City's cause. Rico will decide if Dan Murray is good enough to play in the team just as Pat Dolan did before him. C'mon City.Quote:

You don't need to feign injury playing these Orcs!
even with the advantage rule the ref should have come back and booked all 3 players. :oQuote:
