Ive made a few calls and think ive located the person that needs to be contacted regarding getting the entrance music changed. No gaurantees but im sure that we can put a suggestion foward anyway.
How about we get a poll going then and set a closing date for votes

So with some careful editing by some professional sound people (the FAI can surelty get things done professionally done now) we can get a greta tune established fitting for Ireland.
hmmm, they cannot even work their emails or put the correct ko time up so............ :eek:Quote:

This is only my opinion but I'd say Pride & Streets Have No Name are the two that get the heart rate up, to be preceded by "la La Song" as a warmer upper. With or Without you is a bit sedate isn't it, likewise I Still haven't found...?Quote:

I'm a bit out of touch living in London since '99 but what about giving someone like Tom Dunne a role in the pre-match music?
Ah yes ...all the world needs is another handful of speakers blaring out U2 songs and their absolute domination will be complete.
*Give Him A Ball and a Yard of Grass -Sultans of Ping FC
*Streams of Whiskey -The Pogues
*Irish Rover -The Pogues
*What Would Brian Boitano Do? -DVDA
Zombie by The Cranberries?
i agree with irish rover-pogues and vertigo -u2
How about Morrissey's tune..."Roy's Keen"!! :D ;) :D ;) (Easily changing window cleaner to mid-fielder!)
at least with the irish rover, it is lively and people know the words
definetly not! That irritbale tom dunne can't stop playing that bloody song on his show (manu ****)........Quote:

btw a friend of mine has got in touch with the carslberg band people and is gonna get them to add the "la la song" to their repertoire (but we DO need the crowd to make the effect of that song work)
what is the la la la song glapots
Have to agree 100% on that one.Quote:

well towards the end of that song there's a bit that the europeans for some strange reason seem to love.....anyway a Dutch band 'the hermes house band' made a song of it........check it out. If oyu've ever been to a Europena particularly French nightclub you would have heard it
Oh I don't know.................to create a bit of atmosphere perhaps?Quote:
