5 decent players out and 1 (who I dont know much about so cant comment on) in just makes me think that it could be a slippy season in Flancare Park- But I'm pretty sure that things will change between now and the season's begging.Quote:

With Crowe going to Shels, Bohs hopes of winning the league have gone with him, Shels to run away with it, Cork will get second again, Rovers will (just about) stay up, UCD will take Home Farm's place as bottom of the league, and Waterford to be the surprise package...at the bottom!!
After 33 league games, the table should look:
1. Shels (by a few kilometres) :(
2. Cork (best of the rest)
3. Bohs (disappointing season)
4. Drogheda (Rovers' landlords)
5. Longford (mid-table respectability)
6. Derry (Kenny's recovery)
7. Bray (stable season)
8. Rovers (Roddy's miracles) :)
9. Pat's (just clear)
10. Finn Harps (long struggle)
11. Waterford (chronic defensive problems)
12. UCD (annus horribilis)
Cup winners: Bohs (keeps Farrelly in job)
Promoted: Kildare, Play-off: Galway/Cobh
Bottom of the heap: Limerick once again.
Shels to go looking for "four in a row" in 2006: Now where have I heard that one before??? ;)
1 Shels
2 Cork
3 Bohs
4 Derry
5 Drogs
6 Longford
7 Pats
8 Rovers
9 UCD
10 Waterford
11 Harps
12 Bray
1 Shels (can't really see past them)
2 Cork (depends on away form, and Dolans motivation skills, great when doing well, think back to Pats days when doing bad)
3 Bohs (20+ goal strikers don't grow on trees as they'll soon find out, might finish lower than 3rd)
4 Drogs (think they'd want to be higher with the players they bought, no European finish and they'll do a Dundalk )
5 Pats (wasn't sure to put them 5th or 10th)
6 Waterford (lost their keeper who was worth a few points to them)
7 Longford (good cup team, not a great league team)
8 Derry (haven't done anything in ages, don't expect much
9 Harps (will do well to stay up, depending what local talent they have)
10 UCD (bound to annoy the top teams by taking points, will stay up)
11 Rovers (if Tallaght had of sorted I'd say top 5, but morale and wages might be a killer again
12 Bray (if Zayed goes so do they)
In saying all that, things could change with a few signings here and there, but I can't see any more of the big players moving
Forgotten Divison
Dublin City (welcome home seery to where you belong but I think they'll go back up and join UCD for double fun for everyone)
Sligo (could be their year, nice ground and set up)
Kildare (could win it, depends on how the new players start off)
Galway (achievers again)
Dundalk (Get rid of the usless high earners and bring in some unknown talent and ya never know)
Monaghan (the bottom 5 in no particular order)
Cobh
Athlone
Kilkenny
Limerick
The great thing about football is there's always a few surprises!

LC: Sligo (why not? :D )
Setanta: Glentoran
I see most of you think Bray are going to have a bad season but i think we're going to surprise some people this year. There is a lot of young talent in the squad and a few signings wont harm that. Obviously we're not going to challenge for the league (shels all the way) but a good cup run and mid-table finish is on the cards.

Sorry but I don't think Harps, Rovers, UCD and maybe Pats will finish ahead of us. I might be wrong but I can't see it happening.Quote:

Galway (Don't know why; if they can improve their away record, they'll do well)
Dundalk (Highest turnover in the league - get rid of Geoghegan and bring in three payers who'll actually play and they could do well)
Dublin City (Don't see them challenging this season - they look like they're back to where they were two years ago while others have moved on)
Sligo Rovers
Athlone Town (Couple of decent signings, but then I tipped them last year as well...)
And then Monaghan, Cobh, Limerick and Kilkenny, though not in that order necessarily. Interesting to see what happens Limerick if they get into their new (or old, whichever way you want to look at it) ground.
Watch out for Cobh this year they may well be at the top half of the table this year under new management and will make a few good signings.Quote:
