Only thing is, worst case scenario they'll all stay in the Championship. Fingers crossed, though, that Doyle and Hoolahan make a jump to PL level. Both could be integral in the 2016 qualifying campaign on the basis of the system O'Neill appears intent on implementing (Hoolahan seems first choice at 10, Doyle could be a viable option as lone striker).Quote:

It's a pity that a player like Elliott is struggling to find a club. You'd wonder whether a short summer stint in the LoI might have helped him prove his fitness. I imagine his wage demands wouldn't be excessive for putting himself in the shop window, and Pats, Dundalk, Derry and Sligo could have benefitted from someone with his instinct and experience in their European ties.
