World Cup Bets

Didn’t go mad the first week – just toes dipped into the water:

€5 Holland for tournament outright @ 33/1 Ongoing
€10 Win Double Ivory Coast / Colombia Returns €55.13 +€45.13
€20 Eng v Ita (Draw NB) -€20
€10 Nigeria -1 vs Iran -€10
€10 Win Double Belgium -1 / Brazil -€10

So 0.13 up so far  with €5 still running.

Next Bet before today’s games is Spain outright at 12/1 generally but still 14/1 with bet 365 – If Spain beat Chile today they are back on Track and on a collision course with Brazil in round 2. You could argue that aside from a dodgy penalty decision against Croatia that Brazil are finding the pressure of hosting a little difficult and may be vulnerable to Spain on whom expectation has been dampened. Spain beat Brazil and they are probably back as favourites. If Italy win Group D then possible list of Quarter final opponents for that section of the draw reads Colombia / Ivory Coast / England / Uruguay and Costa Rica.

Lots of if’s and buts but 14/1 is too tempting to pass up for me. €5 e/w 14/1 1/2, 1, 2

Really like the look of Chile over 2.5 yellow cards at 1/1, thats a great bet imho
Spain to win and both teams to score 2/1
Over 2.5 goals 3/5
Also fancy Iniesta at 11/4 a/t scorer, for some reason i feel he might score, ha!

Chile fully deserved that, they could be playing for another 10 hours and Spain wouldn't score. Not too disappointed as they are a team that did it before for me many times past. Just have to pick a new international team now to follow!

Well got some decent money back for this one, would have got twice as much if they had not only gone and scored a goal with 10 minutes left, which tied the bet. Anyhow rather than banking the money just did a few bets for today
