I'm seeing both sides here, when I first heard it and saw it I thought it was a bit pathetic, why would you go to greet another Countries team bus? I wouldn't go to see England, and the English wouldn't go to see Ireland. I sometimes think (some)Irish people - mainly who watch the PL - have more of a concern for watching England or berating England than supporting Ireland. Its a pseudo-hate relationship, but helps fulfil their obsession.
I think it was harmless enough to be honest, a bit silly ,but what concerns me is something bigger happening over there. For someone who goes to a fair few away games, the bigger matches always attract a few fools, those few fools will be multiplied exponentially given the size of the travelling support this time. I really hope everyone behaves themselves and has a good time and are loved by the locals. BUt i have a fear if its anything like Paris away last time there could be trouble at some game.
