Alex Frei today publicly (in the press and on his personal homepage) apologized for his spitting (and only for spitting). He further decided to sponsor the lamas at Basel zoo with an annual CHF 700. :D (You can sponsor any animal at Basel zoo - the bigger, the more expensive.)
