I'd agree with PP there, I think whatever his limitations McCarthy usually has an eye for talented youngsters, and more importantly is usually willing to give them a chance. I'd expect Elliot to get a lot of playing time next season. :)
Keegan didn't want to let him go. He offered him a contract but Elliot felt he had a better chance of first team football at Sunderland. Fair play to him, he has a bit more sense than Partridge. :)Quote:
