What are the best non league grounds that you've been to, are there any that stand out. Are there any that are better than some of the grounds in the first and premier ??
Been to Stradbrook (TEK United), Iveagh Grounds and Capco Park (Bluebell). Not much more than a field with a fence/wall around them really. Iveagh Grounds features a rather decrepit-looking stand too, as I recall. Newbridge Town fits into that category to a large extent too.
well your not missing much in Kildare nothing in it really, cant see how they would be allowed in the premier if they got promoted :confused:Quote:

slk cordially invites you all to Limerick because it's not really a bad place. Clearly that's why our attendances are so low. Crap away support. :)
One positive that Pike Rovers ground has over most grounds is that it has a bar :eek:Quote:

If you're heading out from town along the 45 bus route (i.e. out through Ballsbridge and then Blackrock), head along the Dean's Grange Road and past the Stradbrook Road, but take the next main left; TEK is in on the right.
Was there twice years ago for friendlies against Peterborough (came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 only to lose 3-2) and Pat's. Nice bar though - seems to be in common with every non-league ground.

and last Athlone this week!
Bit of a story about Athlone! The evening before I was resigned to missing the game as I was working till nine the next day but good news came my way when I heard that I would be working the next day at ten to seven!
So I put in a quick course of action -the only way I could make it from Carrick On Shannon was to get a taxi fourty miles to scumlone which cost a cool sixty five euros! After a bit of negotiating over the phone ,Iwas able to do my course of the full grounds. Luckily my pay check was cumin through the next day! :D
Any prize for being the first!
Max it costs e15 to get in to watch us, how much do you pay in to watch Shels, Bohs , Pats??
The exact same thats what. So leave this price hike business out, its very old and totally out of date, your just a tight fecker. Admit it.
Wrong. It's a tenner in to see us. I think Longford are the only other Premier team that don't charge €15.
