It's random anecdote time with Mr A.
Are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin.
A long, long time ago, in a place very far away beside an oversized cowshed, Mr A was watching a first division cup game between Harps and Galway United from behind the goal. Harps needed to win the game 3-0 to make the final. This didn't look like happening until a harmless looking ball comes into the Galway United box.
Robert Forde shouts at Billy Clery "Put it away Billy!". Clery takes a mad swipe at it and somehow slices the ball over his own shoulder and into the net. How we laughed.
And Harps went on to get the three goals, win the final and the tiniest trophy in LOI history. Which we had to give back two weeks later.
And they all lived happily ever after.
Except everyone involved with Harps, we're generally in a state of severe mental anguish.
And probably most involved with GUFC now that I come to think of it.
Maybe the ref is happy. Hopefully not though.
Almost certain Billy Clery tried to break Paul osam's leg one time in Terryland. Good shout LTID
