Moses can be annoying sometimes but the majority of the time he is a laugh when he is not at the Cross the atmosphere suffers as a result ie Dundalk home match. As for banning the man get real Moses is harmless and I know what I'm on about as moses/jim lived in my locality for a number of years and I also know him from the supporters club.

moses
ok we all know moses was wrong on sunday. he lost the head. we all do from time to time. but banned for life. a bit extreme i think. maybe there are other agendas afoot. lets face it last sunday like every other sunday there wouldn't have been any chanting/singing in the shed without moses. if he didn't start the chants himself the songs/chants were in response to something he said. he pays his fiver and is entitled to voice his opinion like the rest of us. next time he abuses morley why doesn't someone start chanting for morley?? I mean moses is only 1 man.
Just one more thing no way will moses be banned as city need all the fivers they can get.

rebel yell
I don't think any fan has any right to encroach or throw anything on the pitch, regardless of what good crack they are or how many fivers they've got. Doing so is juvenile and cowardly.
I remember Ireland v Spain at Flower Lodge when Rovers fans threw bottles onto the pitch. Doubtless they thought that was 'good crack' too having paid their money and availed of the opportunity to besmirch the name of Cork Football.

Long live Moses
I feel a little out numbered here but I must speak up in support of Moses. He has been an inspirational fan at the Cross for years and was vital in creating the atmosphere at so many matches. He is one of my heros.
What is with all this political correctness amongst City fans lately?
I can't help wondering are some of the members of the forum jealous because they go to more away games yet Moses is still the favourite fan!

We should all make the trip down to Waterford to investigate the Dickie and Jimmy alliance - must be great drinking buddies while they exchange ideas on how to con us next. Bet they don't drink Guiness or even our very own Murphy's or Beamish!

I don't support banning him for life, he is a big part of Cork City, but he needs to cop on. If any other fan had done what he did, they would most likely have been banned for life. I know the guy, and I like him, but he can't do what he did. It could cost the club dearly. As for the Morley issue, it's about time moses and everyone else who's at it stopped gettin on Pats back. He's been a great servant for the club.

Snatch as for Moses being a good fan I say Yes.As for Moses being your hero I say get a life.Moses is just one man and if people don't like him they should say so.Maybe city should make him a director that way we could control his behaviour!!As for banning Moses that is harsh but if he continues to run onto the pitch and act the fool the club may have to think seriously about it.A shame cos he is a good supporter and the majority of the time a real laugh
