Cobh in the other hand went down fighting each other and still are, why is everyone so caught up with what Dave Hill is getting paid, it was not so long ago most of you were singing his praise.
How do you expect to get players into the club who have experience unless we pay them which we cannot, how do you expect the players we have get the experience unless we have someone like Dave Hill coaching them.
Rome was not built in a day and its the same with Cobh they will not get back to winning ways unless they are taught and get the expereience they need.
There is no money in Cobh Ramblers yes that is correct and the reason is quite clear all the supporters will not support the team even if they won the Aleague because of the big divide between the town.
There are many many clubs in Ireland loosing money and they are still paying the manager his €2k a week and the players on average €1k a week.
You dont see the supporters carrying on the way Cobh supporters have, if that was the case they would not be a team left in LOI.
More than likley we will see teams going semi-pro next year but they will still be supported by the same people.
Rovers are one example of true fans look at them 20 years ago lost their ground played in every ground in Dublin, but the fans kept them alive with 400 strong TRUE SUPPORTERS, look at them now new pitch and playing one of the top teams in the world tonight
That is what you call support,
Just to put thing straight I have no loyality to commette or Dave Hill none what so ever but its a shame that we are going to leave a club go to the wall just because we do not like each other.
Remember there is no I in team
