I see the religious orders are flatly refusing to re-negotiate the deal on compensation. That shows up their apologies for all they are worth in my view. The only thing they're really sorry about as far as I can see is that it's all out in the open now.

Saw a bit of Prime time last night, showing how the Church hide all their assets in various bodies, etc - man just like the mafia
Compensation yes, but wonder will the tax payers have to pay more if the deal is restruck?
And why is it all about money? Wouldnt jail time be better for that shower?

I am still waiting for one decent journo to draw up a "Map" linking the judges, guards, doctors, priests, journos and others involved. Name, names. It would be enlightening to find out how many of todays "cream of Ireland" are related to the monsters of our recent past.
