Didn't see the "Do many buy it" question. We've been selling to 1/3rd of the crowd in the first two games. Was maybe 1 in 4 or 1 in 5 last year.

Regarding 'do many buy it'... about 1 in 4 at Dundalk, would be surprised if any club with crowds over 1K were selling to more than 1 in 3.

1 in 3 is the normal rule of thumb for programmes sales. However it is much more for bigger games. Shamrock Rovers sold all 2,000 programmes for the first match at Tallaght and sold out quite early. The attendance was 3,500.

The quality of the programme will make a difference to sales too.

For comparison, I understand Derry sell around 500 hundred programmes with an average crowd of 2-2.5k.

Those Cork people sure like to read....or look at pictures.

There are some very good articles in there too. Local writer Brian Kennedy takes a look back at some past games, there is a stats section. All you need for our next away game. And of course a team sheet.

And all for � 3. What a bargain.

It wasn't full colour for the Sporting Fingal game and the pen pics are in colour either. It was just the cover that was colour from what I remember!

Not 3000 but the numbers are good. Remember that Citys programme has been great for the last 6-7 years and built up a regular number of buyers. Loads of reading so its well worth it. Better than some magazines imo.

No doubt at all Cork's is the best BUT I'd still thnk the figure who buy is about 1/3 of the crowd

Pats do seel back issue of programmes (and try and buy some from away games for those who can't make it)

a lot of the dublin clubs would longfordjames thats how i added to my program collection.finn harps are also excellent for back issues of match programs
