It is possible to buy the old away jersey( as worn against wales in the millenium stadium under stan) without a logo.
If these jerseys were made available previously, i dont see why they cannot be made available for the new one.

i think we should all turn up to the next match in Zanzibar shirts in protest.
definitely the coolest jersey i've ever seen.
also, as to the logo, not only is it shameful, but my home jersey one, the logo fell apart after 100 or so washes, it looks crap now.
also, do we bring out new jerseys more often than other countries? are there any rules regarding how long 1 particular jersey has to be kept for?
As much as a lot of us dislike Eircom, I actually think, as logo's go, it looks well on our jerseys. Maybe at this stage we could at least get Eircom to remove to letters and just leave the logo (if the FAI won't drop the shirt sponsor). It's not as if we don't know what the logo is at this stage.

Wonder why Zanzibar has its own jersey, when its a part of Tanzania? Regardless, that's a hell of a jersey, very cool. I'd actually prefer just the eircom lettering rather than the orange blob.

Better pics of the kit here, Im definitely liking it, best away kit in years. Class goalies kit too, have Umbro turned the corner?
I like it too. One of the best in years.
Its only ok IMO, nothing particularly new in it. There were a number of home jerseys for sale a year or two ago without any eircom logo on the front, but it had a players name and number on the back, think it was pretty much a choice between Keane and Duff and that was it but def looked better than the big orange in the front.

Would this be it?
The shirt will look very well in South Africa next year. Even if we don't qualify there is always a good contingent of Irish supporters in attendance. If we do qualify then I can see thousands of those things on the streets of Cape Town.
Yeah, the Wild Cup and VIVA Cup are the main ones, along with the Island games. The book shows some interesting things, like how FIFA contradict themselves so much on certain contries refusal and how big a part politics play, especially with Greenland & Gibraltar's applications

The new retro shirts going on sale in the FAI shop @ carrolls will have no sponsor logos.
I've just realised something. Don't Ireland shirts contravene FIFA's ambush marketing regulations at the World Cup?
They can be very heavy handed in stopping anyone prominently displaying the logos of any company that is not an official World Cup sponsor.
Theoretically, if we all turn up at the stadium on match day in South Africa next year wearing any current Ireland shirt, we won't be allowed in. Does the FAI know this?
