AFAIK, one of the Paddy Power LOI odds man is a regular poster here so I don't doubt but he knows his stuff particularly as he spent a good deal of his time in recent years attending first division games. Also, the journalist who penned the story in the Sindo is a mate of his..:rolleyes:

Others on this thread have mentioned the English premiership, there was an interesting story in the international edition of the UK Sunday Telegraph, two Sundays ago, about strange betting patterns at football games in the UK. Not sure if it made the UK or Oirish editions but it was dropped off their website shortly afterwards. :cool:

I think paddy power are looking for some cheap publicity by disparaging the Eircom league and clubs and I will not be placing any further bets with them until they either prove their insinuations or retract them
