Yeah, that's what it was. TBH I'm not sure whether is was the connection, the driver or the keyboard. I just heard about an IT problem in work fixed by changing the keyboard and I noticed that some of the functions I used to control with the keyboard weren't always working (volume, mute etc)
Stuck on an old HP keyboard (with USB connection), re-started PC and working fine now.
