As for dodgy at crosses, that is probably a fair point but when you see him come for a cross you can't doubt his commitment, he will clean up anyone in front of him to get to the ball. The guy is also an incredibly accurate distributor of the ball, very similar to the way Schmeichal was.
As for the 8 keepers better than him above... Tim f##king Howard!!! are you on drugs??? Complete failure at Utd. and only getting attention now that he is at a side where nothing is expected of him so he has none of the pressures Reina has. I will agree with Cech being better and Given and Jaaskelinen being on a par with him. David James? You have a very short memory, he is a good shot stopper but is about as unreliable as they come, as soon as Foster starts to get regular first team football James can kiss his England career goodbye. Schwarzer can go in the same bracket as Howard, he has never had any real pressure on him but he is a decent keeper. Friedal goes into that group too, he was awful at Liverpool but seems to have matured at Blackburn, again though nothing expected of him. Van Der Sar? Did you not see the Utd. Liverpool game? He was a great keeper but he is shaky now, again once Foster is ready he will take his place.
