Meant to post that earlier Pauro, heard it last night. Shocking stuff. Poor guy obviously never got over his daughter's death.
I thought he was recalled though? He was just out coz of the stomach bug he had is what I had heard and that he was going to be in for the WC.
Edward Woodward.

Aw no! Used to love him as an actor. The Equilizer was one of my favourite shows as a teen, particularly used to love when it was on late at night when would come in from clubbing and sit with tea and toast and watch it. RIP Ed.
Loved him in the Wicker Man. I'll have to watch that again later now.
Coronation Street's Blanche has died today (the Bookies ONLY customer!)

That is terrible. Best character in Corrie by a mile. Loved her putdowns.
Here's a few.
To Deirdre and Ken: "Good looks are a curse Deirdre. You and Kenneth should count yourselves lucky."
On Liz McDonald: "Skirt no bigger than a belt, too much eyeliner, and roots as dark as her soul."
Deirdre: "If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all."
Blanche: "I think I'll go home then. "
R.I.P.
Shame about Blanche, genuinely one of the best comedic actors on British television this decade
RIP Blanche :(
Haven't watched Coro since Reg left. :)

75 years of age they say. I think someone lied about their age. Add another 5years at least. Great humour. Will be missed.
I can't believe how many of you watch that garbage!
Divorce?
Actor Richard Todd (Dambuster fame) has died aged 90

He was born in Dublin and actually in real life fought during the WW2 and also appeared in the movie THE LONGEST DAY (one of my favourites):

Dan O'Bannon screenwriter got on the bandwagon of the Alien series. Even credited with Predator v. Alien in 1993 and again ten years later. He is also credited with genre-breaking work... like The Return of the Living Dead(1985) four years after Sam Raimi's The Evil Dead (1981).

Very sad, always liked her, reported to have suffered from eating disorders.
She was supposed to be anorexic, and did look very skinny recently:
