Completely disagree yes our form is poor but apart from some senior lads the squad us very young with 4/5? Learning the game at b level and while our youth s are ok we have 3:4 cracking players who no doubt will step up over best 2/3 years as for competing with Limerick team saints will not and rightfully so offer the finacial incentives that's are been offered
Saints have been lucky to have had some great players over the last 10 years, however they are now experiencing a tough time, their bench against Celtic was as poor as I have ever seen in a Saints squad. Their youths are very poor, I am not suggesting they have ignored the youth structure, I would say it's just a case of the players not being there, it might now be a period of rebuilding for Saints
To a certain extent I agree we are going through rebuilding stage saints have always tried to freshen it up the like of chalkie Paul Tobin are going to b huge losses ehen they go but the team will move on and if you look closely at the age profile of the team /squad appx 10 players are 24 and under which makes us one the youngest around
The youths. / schoolboy structure is one the best in junior football and lots of work been done there while youths team nit as strong it will produce 5:6 players fir our 2 junior teams next season ( our b team has about 7 plsyers u21 on its squad)it's just a case of waiting and having patience , if your remember few years back town had a top youths team coady, Byrnes , Kiely etc saints were poor that year but still cooper, Ritchie ryan and jimmy Carr came through so you could argue saints had the better youth team in long run and I this will be the case over next 2:3 seasons bearing in mind saints win 3/5 last youth leagues .
I think writing saints off at the minute is silly yes they are not playing well and the injuries have been horrendous but are saints capable of winning every completion they are left in ? , absolutely !

Waterford League 1, TSDL 2. Half-time 1-0 to Waterford. Two great goals from Evan Maguire in second-half. TSDL now through to knockout stages. Last game sees TSDL at home to Wexford League to decide who tops the group. A draw will do TSDL as they have better goal difference.
what was tsdl team. great to get result down there cant have been easy
TSDL: Evan Comerford (Clonmel Town), Paul Tobin (St. Michael’s), Kevin Waters (Clonmel Celtic), Craig Condon (Clonmel Celtic), John Shanahan (Clonmel Town), Trevor Cosgrave (St. Michael’s), Jimmy Carr (St. Michael’s), Thomas Fahey (St. Michael’s), Emmet Johnson (Old Bridge), Evan Maguire (Clonmel Celtic), David Slattery (Cashel Town)
Subs used: Alan Hayes (St. Michael’s) for Maguire, Shane Flynn (Clonmel Town) for Cosgrave, Mark Lowry (St. Nicholas) for Comerford (inj)
Clubs and referees should recheck their fixture on the TSDL website www.tsdl.ie for next Sunday 6th January because I think some alterations were made to facilitate the F.A.I. Junior Cup game between Rosegreen and Castlebar Celtic.
Another good win for Cahir park on sunday, beat Glengoole 3-0 in the Paddy Purtill, Park on a roll this season , they have played 11 games at home this season in all competions, and have yet to concede a single goal, that takes some doing at any level in football, Michael Grace has really got the team organised and brought in some experienced players to bring along their very promising bunch of young players. future looks bright for Cahir park,
Looking good for the park alright. Another couple of wins should wrap up the league. Cant see past them for div 1 shield either. Some very good young players in the club and the experience of getting in Norman O Brien, Dennis Peters and Paddy O Donnell this season has transformed them. Hopefully they can build again next year . Be great to see them a force in the Tsdl and up challenging with Saints, town and celtic
Great for Cahir this season alright, but all this was said about Two Mile Borris 2 seasons ago when they stormed the 1st Div. The standard of the top 3 is along way from rest of Prem and Div 1. Cahir will be delighted to be playing in Prem again next season but they could do without people getting carried away and talking about challenging. Cahir will hold their own but the first 2 months when nearly half your league games can be played are the key games for promoted teams in the Prem.
TSDL 3, Kilkenny League 0. TSDL now through to knockout stages of youth inter-league competition .
What time is Bansha v clonmel town kicking off??? TSDL says 11 clonmel website saying 2:30
[QUOTE=thomas72;1653117]What time is Bansha v clonmel town kicking off??? TSDL says 11 clonmel website saying 2:30[/QUOTE

Cashel Town 0-1 Clonmel Celtic. Injury time goal from Evan McGuire.
How do you know it's Ger Halley
How are Clonmel Town getting on in the league this year lads?
Where could i find the TSDL league table?
Who's this Ger Halley he seems very popular.
I would like to clarify the rules on this forum as i have just recently become a member , why do we use usernames if certain indivuals on this forum , deem it necessary to make the assumption who that user is. Secondly i did not realise that only certain clubs can be discussed on this forum. My post was not a party political broadcast on behalf of anybody but in fact my post was a statement of fact. Fact no 1 : Cahir park did beat Glengoole 3-0. Fact no 2 : Any team that is unbeaten in their league and has only lost one game all season ( that game was lost on penalities) can be deemed to be on a roll.
Fact no 3: Cahir park have not conceded a single goal in 11 games at home in all competitions this season.
Fact no 4: that does take some doing at any level of football
Fact no 5: Michael Grace must be doing something right with a record like that.
Fact no 6 : cahir park have signed some experienced players this season.
Fact no. 7 : cahir park do have some promising young players.
PS : AFTER YESTERDAYS 7-0 WIN IN TIPP CUP AGAINST KILLUSTY , IT IS NOW NO GOAL CONCEDED IN 12 HOME GAMES IN ALL COMPETITIONS.
Ger Halley was on sports programme tonight. Cahir are right to shout about it. So glad Blossom is doing Soccer now. Really knows his stuff. No bluffing. Really hope he stays as the soccer correspondent. Interesting what he said bout Alan Reyonlds taking over at Waterford.
Unfortunatly Cahir Park will always be too good for the First Division and not good enough for the Premier League, there's another fact you can add to Ger Halleys list
not too sure about this. i know we have seen galbally (2010) and Boris (2011) promoted after doing the division 1 double and flop the year after in premier league but i think the park will do alright next season in premier league if they keep this squad together and add 1 or 2 players.
As for lads having a pop at halser09 , no need for it. were all entitled to our opinion on this and are all attached to clubs so bound to be abit biased. also unneccessary to be naming lads on this i think we all have a fair idea who each user is on this so best just to leave the acknowledgements of posters to profile names.
Best of luck to Town and celtic this weekend in fai
As usual he was spot on. Said going away was tough but expected Celtic to win. He felt town would have a tough time but that they are a young side and they have nothing to lose. Blossom is excellent. He is by a mile the best analyst on Tipp fm
I heard him once when someone put a link up on this from a podcast and he did a good job, Muiris does a good job also, I wouldn't be a fan of Ronan Quirke now I have to say. I think Celtic will definitely win, could be worth a good bet too, waiting to see the prices, Carew Park are top of the Limerick league, unusual with Pike, Fairview and Janesboro, must be a top side
