Hartnett stories are true

true by all accounts....also heard that he had the captaincy taken off him at the start of the season which is very strange when you consider he lead Pike to FAI glory in a season that will go down as the greatest in their long history.Keith was an excellent player for Pike over the years and scored a bag of goals along the way.Very surprised that Connie left him go so easily and could be a big mistake on the managers behalf, are things coming apart at the seams?.....on the other hand, heard that Pa Boyle could be making the short move to Crossagalla!!
no chance spindoctor pa was training with carew last night and is going nowhere.
regards hartnett to fairview forms signed tonight biggest shock in a few years id say keith is a fantastic player who scores nearly 30 goals a season from midfield a big loss for pike but IMO they are still streets ahead of everyone in town its defending there FAI is were they will miss keith he always scores big big goals for pike big game player.
christ, its shocking to see the pike fans slagging last years captain fantastic, they forget very quick, dont they,
maybe he wanted to go to a club that is full of heart and not greed, just a thought.
Well said mrman well said
totally agree with you thomas72 on the Pike/Harnett topic, you said it all there!....but as for the Boyle matter one would have to question his absence from the Carew Park starting line up last weekend i.e. he's not cup tied.It certainly adds fuel to the fire when you hear the rumours circulating.Sorry if you have a sleepless night but I bet it's got you thinking...haha!
PA was away with his girlfriend nothing in it he has already turned down top clubs to stay with carew he is the club captain and all his mates are there aswell. as good as pa is pikes midfield is very very strong kav, tIerney and possible yellow Lyons it would be tough to get in there.
if they were full of heart they wouldnt bottle it everytime they see the pike jersey and as for greed dont make me laugh pike have lost 3 players to the view in the last 12 months and so far they have won zilch ,keith went because his ego was hurt at being left out instead of admitting he was out of form and getting his head down ,best of luck to him we got 7 good years out of him.interesting the amount of players leaving behing the apparent pot of gold that is up in pike ,maaybe you might spare a thought at that one
keith hartnett a certainty to be captain of the oscar traynor team now ,aidan must be well proud
things coming apart at the seams hahahaha ,pike are unbeaten and it says alot for the 11 that started last sunday that keith couldnt get in which was justified by the performance ,i remember the melt down pa mcgarrys move caused last year but just remember who came out on top ,
without a doubt the most successful junior club in the country but that doesnt make ye have dignity and class,i would think geraldines would have something to say about those 2 words ,just mention measuring tape down garryowen way ,and ye certainly treated the man who managed ye to most of those fai junior cups with dignity and class,
it's actually nine including the minor.
and pike have two if you include their minor.
it's the first i have heard about hartnett.
it would be a great signing for fairview,if it happens, and would more then make up for the loss of grant going the other way.
as i said, hopefully now they can build on that, and secure the players they have at the minute for the remainder of the season.
lord knows theres enough of texts flying around asking fella not to cup tie themselves.
i know that there is at least one more on his way to the fairgreen, which would also improve not only the panel, but the first eleven.
i know a fair bit yes.
but anyone that supports a club would probably know as much.
i genuinely did not hear anything about hartnett until now.
then again, this probably happened after sunday,so i would not have been around the people in the know.so to speak, since then.
Oscar Traynor Panel is on www.limericksoccer.com
Great to see Shane Waters on the squad
Good squad but why has he named 20.. Will be tough to leave someone off the match card
Hartnett has no loyalty whatsoever, cant understand all the moving of players between clubs, maybe Hartnett is joining his pal Gavin OShea who is now with Fairview, just wondering is Gavin fit again after injury in pike match?
by your reasoning if a club does not win the FAI, their season is considered a bad season.i dont how long the fai junior cup has been played for, nor how long limerick teams are competing for it, but bar 10 seasons all the clubs in limerick have had bad seasons by you reasoning..... you really do represent all that is wrong with the so called supporters of clubs in junior football.
P.S. just a quick word to complement Pike Rvs on their win last sunday, well deserved and well done to all involved for the respect shown for our club and its facilities...a pleasure not having to tell people to do the obvious..
best of luck in your defense of the fai.
you could say that about 90% of the premier players nowadays.
he did not start their biggest match of the season so far,and with more players coming to pike(apparently),he probably decided to move to play regular football.i could be wrong, but did he not play for pike for the last 7 season's???
it can make it very easy to be loyal when your playing all the time in a successful team.
you only have so long of a career,so you make the most of it
good addition for fairview though, and happy to see him up there
not 100% sure, but as far as i know he is transferring,or has transferred, to kildimo . ryan would be number one choice on the prem. side, and some very good keepers coming through in the not to distant future.
he never left fairview down in the couple of seasons he played with us
nice guy,and if true wish him all the best
With Janesboro going so well how is it that Fairview managed to sign the lads from the Tipp league, surely Janesboro this season would have been a better option or can they just not compete for players with Pike and View?
so are you saying they have signed for fairview because they were guaranteed OT matches - didn't think the lure of playing OT was that strong and after all Tipp have been just as strong as limerick the last few years. Have only seen barnes once and he looks good and from what I have heard Ryan played amateur international last year. Maybe these lads weren't made the right offer early enough.
:smile:not too sure what you saying here HT,pike are full of ex league of ireland players and i dont think they can be selected for regions cup held recently, they can be selected for the other competition the quadrangulars and was,n hartnett in the last one.there might have been even another pike player in that but i couldn,t be sure.
