What games are on tonight?
3 games in 5 days, a 6.15 KO and no game at the weekend. If you want to attract people to the game a better balance is needed.
A 6.15 start is nothing but a rush job to fulfill a fixture no matter how organised you are.
Not all players work in Limerick?
Not all players get paid to play Junior football.
Will it take a player killed in a car accident for the early starts to stop?
Reduce the league to 10 teams - it would make it a stronger shorter league?
I'm watching you post here for a long time before I joined up and that sthe most sensible post you've made.
This Sunday most teams had 1 third of their league campaign completed in mid september. Fair enough getting games in now while pitches are playable is great.
But as you said fella's rushing from work even across town not to mention ones working in Shannon/Ennis or where ever.
UL 1 carew park 1
very entertaining game a draw IMO a fair result either team could of won it.
ul went one up with 10min to play ger ned levelled with time up with one of the best goals you will ever see anywhere volley 30yrds out corner fantastic finish. great point for carew tough place to go carew starting to pick up points of late drew 2 and won 2 in the last 5 league games
Wembly 0-2 Kilmallock
two 2nd half goals from Mark Heffernan and Andy Shocks
Mungret Regional 3-1 Ballananty.
Dissappointing reult from a balla point of view but fully deserved three points for Mungret. Mungret defended strongly and were far fter than Balla.
Early goal against the run of play for balla but mungret 2-1 up at half time. Mungret should have been at least 4-1 up at half time but missed some easy chances up front. Balla never really threatened and mungret got third about fifteen mins to go and balla heads dropped.
Does anyone have the league standings now?:ball:

IMO its gonna be between boro , regional and Pike. Pike seem to be more vunerable this year while Reg and Boro seem to have more strenght in depth, something they have lacked in previous years. From what I hear after the cup break it's Reg v Pike! That should tell us alot about Regionals credentials. Funny how things go, start of the season people were saying Regional would be cannon fodder due to a couple of pre madonnas leaving for supposed greener pastures but the opposite now seems the case. Funny old game.
Annacotty had a poor result last night i thought they were going too be a hand full but it doesnt look that way looking at the table.
If Aisling had taken a third of the chances they would have won by 4 or 5, Gordon Stewart pulled off save after save not to mention the peno. Carew created 3 half chances and scored with a cracking volley to level the game when Aisling were down to 10 players. Ref should never of sent off the Aisling midfielder.
Bad result for Balla last night. I haven't seen any games yet this season, but it seems to be taking a familiar shape as the last few seasons with Pike and Regional battling it out. On paper you'd have said that the View were going to blitz it with the signings they made (Finny, Tommy, Chucka, Heff, Robbie, Darren Young, Frankie Browne and Rossi all with lots of LOI experience) but their results have been poor. Hard to see how a manager cant get results out of a squad like that! Pike seem to always have a bit more desire to win than others at this level and thats what probably gives them the edge. I fancy Pike to win it by 6 points or so, with Janesboro and Regional figthing it out for second.
Dont think there will be 6 points in it.Can see it going down to the wire with Fairview coming back in to it. Pike will get distracted by the FAI as they always do and if they gget a run in that there league form will suffer.
Regional to win it by a point from Pike and the view.
Does anyone know how Ray Lynch is playing with Regional, I heard he is talking of signing for Newcastle West or is that rubbish. He was a savage player underage, I havent seen him play in a few years though
ya we have had a bad start ok will come back in to it heard boro had shane walters+lyons down training last night are they signing?
MOD EDIT_Tone it down Get a life-no need for it.
