Thats probably because he bottled sending off yer centre half in the first half (who then went on to score 2 goals) and then rejected a stone wall peno for us which would have also resulted in a straight red for yer keeper.

Firstly he was not the last man when he commited that foul on monty, Who later said he was not fouled monty was blaming the state of the pitch. The same player only scored 1 goal the other was an own goal. As for the stone wall penalty you must be having a luagh. Again monty said after it that it was worth a dive... Don't know what games youd be watching at all.. You must be on some drugs at times... Enjoy
Thats funny coz Monty told our whole squad the complete opposite for both incidents after the game in the dressing rooms, and I dont know where you saw an OG, both goals were scored by yer centre back......................anyway, you tell me what other chances Granville had on target other than the 2 they scored from set pieces, coz I cant remember any.............

shannonman and abbeyvale - go back over the posts the day after ye lose a game, they are priceless. If both of you were to be believed then Shannon Town and Star Rovers should be unbeaten for at least the last 5 years. :D:D:D
Big games on Sunday and Tuesday for the top 3 and bottom 3. What a massive game for yee Shannonman at the Boro after loosing 2 in a row, 3 points there would get yee back on track. Caherdavin and Star should be a good game on Tuesday and i think if Caherdavin win they will get promoted. 2 big wins for Croom in row and if they get something at Herbertstown i think they will avoid the drop. Whatever happens it will bean exciting finish to the season.
Yeah, we'd be happy with a draw away to Caherdavin and then hope that they draw or lose when they play Shannon Town, thats providing we beat Dromore away tomorrow, which will be no easy game considering they're under pressure now to get points considering the revival of Croom in recent games.

Dromore 4-4 Star. Dromoro 4 up at half time. Made two subs which ended up in disaster. Ref was absolutely terrible. Told 2 Star players at half time "lads there is another half yet to go, ye can get back into it". Star scored a well worked goal ten mins into the second half. Then got the worst penalty decision I have ever seen in my life. Dromore player lying on the ground after a tackle in his penalty box, hand flat by his side, Star player took a shot from two yards away which his his hand/side (hand didnt move), and ref took about ten seconds to give a penalty, saying it was ball to hand. Ref then sent off a Dromore player for a second yellow, he was through on goal and took a shot two seconds after the ref blew the whistle. Said to the ref he honestly didnt hear it, but ref was having none of it. Funny thing was on two separate occasions later in the game, Dromore players blatantly kicked the ball away and should have got yellows, but nothing was given. Only given a yellow cos ref knew he was on one already.
Star dominated second half, and after sending off it was an onslaught. On the counter, the Dromore striker who got all four goals, was straight through on goals from the halfway line, ball five/six yards ahead of him, and was chopped down by the last man for star from behind with what was basically a flying kick. Star player expected his marching orders, only got a yellow. Sideline was going ballistic. Star eventually scored a very good headed goal. Questions about the keeping. Well deserved though. Scored again pretty much straight from kick-off with some God awful defending. Star should have went on to win in, had 3 great chances from corners at the end.
Ref allowed two corners, and the resulting plays at the end after telling Dromore players there was 20 seconds left. Absolutely disgraceful. Walked off the pitch to a torrant of abuse.

4 games in 9 days for Shannon coming up......................best of luck to them
Shannon Town v Dromore Celtic ... Thurs 15/4 @ 11am.... presuming the time is a misprint?
Shannon Town Prospect called off...both teams and ref there but pitch was not playable....We rang the LDMC TWICE today to get the match called off as the pitch was under water but they wouldn't call it off....can someone confirm was the star caherdavin game called off at 5 o'clock?
If so..why does a ref and both teams have to be there for our match yet caherdavin an star can both stay at home?
Caherdavin rang the LDMC today at 5pm to say their pitch was unplayable, but were told it will be up to the ref to make the call.
So we met as normal and travelled to the Greenhills and true enough the pitch was under water, so the ref called it off.
In fairness, you cant blame the LDMC for any of this, coz who's to know if the team that make the call to say their pitch is unplayable, could be trying to pull strokes with maybe having players injured or unavailable etc;;

Agree, but with the rain that fell today it was unlikely that any game would go ahead(especially at our pitch) just seems harsh on prospect who had to travel.
Anyway attention turns to Sunday.....
Oh and that game thursday week against Dromore wont be going ahead.

The above is now complete.
Shannonman - game won't be going ahead v Dromore cos of the pitch is it, or what is the story?
Abbeyvale - agree about not blaming the LDMC, due to team's wanting it to be called off as they might be missing players
Dromore 3 - 1 Boro
Terrible conditions. Pitch cut up very badly making it difficult to play ball. Dromore went ahead with a well taken goal. Boro dominated first half with the aid of a strong wind and had 2 great opportunities to score... 2 super saves from the Dromore keeper. Boro deservedly equalised near half time, good save from the keeper, but the rebound fell to the Boro striker.
Second half a different story. Dromore began to get on top, and got a second goal fairly early in the second half. Then proceeded to miss a host of chances, three most notably... a header from 2 yards out that went off the bar, and over the line but the ref said it hadnt crossed the line. Also missed two one on ones. Eventually got the 3rd with ten mins left, and for the last 5 Boro pressed but didnt look like scoring.
Big result. Its becoming squeaky bum time towards the bottom. Two from Croom Herbertstown Dromore and Balla. Maybe even Boro as they have player 19 games...but they should be safe
As I said above I was open to correction, yes they have 6 games left also, wishfull thinking on my part, its updated above now.
