Munsterman, are u having a laugh or wat saying John Ryan is the best keeper in the TSDL!! Richie Ryan obviously should be on the TSDL Oscar trainer as number1 but as everybody knows,de Oscar trainer is only a joke.Richie is on the Irish colleges team so why isnt he good enough for de Oscar Trainer.??Any suggestions!!!??:ball: :ball:
 Those match reports are an absolute embarrassment to the club
It was a good win against an under strength Michaels team.
As for John Ryan, yeah I think he's better than Richie Ryan having watched both fairly often over the last few years. Don't really know the other TSDL keepers that well but i'd see him as being fairly under-rated. 'Tis only my opinion though.;)
Great game yesterday between Celtic and Town, good weather, good crowd and two great goals. I thought Celtic had the better of it in the first half and deserved to go in front at the start of the second but then sat back leaving town dominate the final period. Town were deserving of an equalizer.
I thought the ref was fairly scandalous though. How he didn't give a penalty to Danny Madigan in the last few minutes I'll never know. He was fecking hacked down by two defenders - his shinguard was snapped and he had to go off injured as well! I don't know whether Tommy Lewis and all the gang being down ready to present the trophy to Town put him under a bit of pressure or what, but it was one of the worst decisions I've ever seen.
Leaves a bitter taste in the mouth but in the end you can't argue with Town being the best team in the league. It's some achievement to win four in a row.
Fair assessment. Have to agree with you. As a Clonmel Town fan I was delighted with the result. Couldn't see us getting a goal. Tony Scully's goal was brilliant, matched by Brian Waters. A draw was probably a fair result but if Celtic had held on, nobody could have argued
In relation to the penalty that wasn't given, even I could see from the other end that it was a stone wall penalty. John Teehan bottled it. Celtic have reasons to be upset.
Well done to Town, fantastic achievement to win four in a row
I was very impressed by Celtic yesterday. They were definetley the better side over 90 mins. Town were like a side already on their summer hols. Just goes to show what a bit of dedication and resources can achieve. They must be favourites for the Tipp Cup. Hopefully another few clubs can make the step up next year and make the league an entirely more competitive affair. From a Town perspective it fantastic to win 4 in a row but it will take some new squad additions to make it 5.

I was at the Borris vs Town game ,I thaught Borris showed great spirit to come back and win the game. The big guy at the back for Borris (carlo) i think had a fine game ,very comfortable on the ball as did the striker that got the hatrick. There is a rumour that Clonmel are not that good away from home.I think Clonmel are suffering from MJC hangover.
yeah borris came from 2 down to win five 2. great result for them good end of season result . they can look forward to next season now. to beat town at any time is great result for any team. if borris could be more consistent next year they could challenge top 3.
