That’s the preferred option, and indeed was voted on and approved and agreed with the council, but they changed the plan for about the fifth time.
Tbh the toilet facilities etc in the existing stand are beyond bad and inadequate though so really a new build, with all the ancillary features of a modern stadium, plus actually having fit for purpose dressing rooms and office space/ media centre etc., is preferable. Just wish they’d settle on a plan and build the fuc@&r
Yeah tbh I've lost track of what the latest Dalymount proposal is but unfortunately the Jodi is no longer state of the art and if we're redeveloping the rest of the ground I hope the Jodi gets a facelift too. There's poles obscuring the view, the seats are tiny, there's about 1/3 the amount of toilets there should be, the toilets are a disaster in some cases and not up to the standard you'd want, the offices are tiny. It's not the worst, it's probably one of the best main stands in the league and it's done us well for so long. There's not a ton wrong with it but as I said it's no longer state of the art.

I love Dalymount. It's the reason I've been a Bohs 'fan' and have kept in the loop with the club since a schoolboy, which has grown more in the last decade.
Dalymount (even with the 'new' Jodi) still has the vibe of a ground throw-back to the old days of British style grounds, and as much as I love it, it's not fit for purpose. But the new Dalymount - it goes without saying - must be fit for purpose.
Understanding the Council's needs for community use as well, appreciating the difficulty in inter-agency collaboration at times too, I would have liked to see St Peter's school being integrated into the complex for their benefit and that of Bohs.

Saw a Cobh fan saying that on another forum - definitely the Kerry board to blame, as the fans were just buying whatever was released, and there was no indication of an away section on the site website.

There'd always be teething problems, but not leaving aside tickets for away fans seems a pretty awful oversight.
I thought after the whole Bohs rovers nonsense there was now a minimum percentage you had to give to away fans like 5 or 10 percent
