that's a good point. makes things harder in my opinion when you have to finish out the league campaign with 3 or 4 away matches

saying that their fixtures might even out before the last 3 or 4 games if not it could prove tough if they've to travel out the country to the poorer pitches...im sure they wont complain..played 3 won 3.

I dont know who you, are but do yourself a favour, and get off these sites before you write something that bites you in the ass.
I truly believe that this is good advice for you.
If you have a good game, enjoy the feeling.
If you have a bad game, get over it,and learn from it.
Yea they would be talking out there backside but you can see what i'm getting at!! a refs decision is final be it right or wrong he dont need to be on here talking about his and other refs decisions, well thats my take on it i'm gonna leave it at that
at the end of the day every single ref in limerick or anywhere else can read wats written on this site...people just have to watch wat they say in certain circumstances. And personally i'd like to think all refs would have more integrity than to let anythin said on here about them sway future decisions altho i'd have my doubts if thats possible wit certain things written...refs posting on here could work if they defend decisions made which they believe they got right or to acknowledge one or two they got wrong without personal attacks on them or from them
Dines 1-1 Summerville...fair result, summerville could of been 3or4 up at half time we were awful first half...second half was complete opposite, sensational goal from a christy o neill free kick and were far the better team. Could of nicked it...not a bad result, we were missing 7...Summerville are a good side, very pacey

I dont think the second half was completely the opposite, ville still had 3 one-on -ones in the second half and the dines only shot on target all game was the free kick, which was a beauty. Good game and it was refereed excellently. Two young sides who will be close to the top but maybe too much to ask to get promoted this season.
Ye could have nicked it in the end alright. Both teams lacked a bit attacking.
my first time watching the ville this season, a shadow of last years team but they played well, very eager, and best of luck to them for the rest of the season. Bring back Mona!

what are the other fixtures???
Ya good match not the result of course but a clean game, yer no10 was causing most problems for us but we are a young side and i think as the season goes on we'll get better, how did that first header creep in the back post i'l never no our winger must have a hole in his belly, nice 3rd goal from yer winger
match called off by ref, croom there no pitch lined no nets up, looked like the match was never going to take place, heard prospect tired to get the match off during the week
Mungret 2 - 0 Balla
Balla are a decent footballing side but mungret deserved the win.
Ya it was a good game, we have come a long way since our first game though and any team thinking they are getting a handy 3 points off of us better think again, we are aiming for a mid table finish and will be looking for a good cup run.....if we had scored the chance that hit the bar and ye didnt score off of the counter then it would have been 3-3 which I do think we deserved. Ye have a good team and will be very tough at home, what ye are like playing away on a Sunday morning on a nice pitch I cannot say though, there were parts of the pitch very bad but it held up well so good stuff Shannon Town in getting the pitch playable.
fully agree that mungret deserved win,we played well and could have done better with the ball up front but there keeper hadn't a save to make i think ,having said that besides the penalty and the goal mungret got(great strike from 20 yards) our keeper didn't have a thing to do either.
As i said on this site earler this season if mungret could continue where they left off at the end of last season the'd be there or there abouts come the end of the season.
They like to play a bit of ball which isn't always the case in this division
i have no problem in what people say or do to me on this site, but to do with this site i'm firstly a soccer fan so have every right as anyone to have an opinion on anything i like...
secondly do yourself a favour and take this a good piece of advice if you have any problem or opinion about me use the PM please

We were missing 8 players...colin fleming, our keeper...liam lenihan our top scorer, jason mullins darren clancy. Ian stewart david smith gary campbell danny kelliher, 6 of which would of started the game. Minors only on the bench and going into the game both teams were in top 2 in the division...mungret beat us 3-2 in mungret on the first day of the season. We hit the post at 2-1 they broke and scored. Way too strong? A bit of an exaggeration...mungret are the favourites for the league and i've said numerous times on various threads they'd make a better go of the premier than dromore and granville. Both of whom i've watched this season...wat do you base you view that 1a is a very poor league this year?
we're fully aware of that...beaten six nil by fairview two weeks ago...but there are plenty of players in the league who could play premier and plenty who have...

Table has been updated due to Balla v Croom game (which Croom won 2-1) having to be replayed due to ref only playing 40mins each half, which Balla objected to and won.
played that game,ya ref was unreal,it was brought to his attention at half time and said he was only playing 40 a side because croom were late!!
also said when we questioned him about it he said he'd call off the game, only played 40 in the second half too and it was bight for a good 15-20mins after the game.
Obviously as I said before when you win you deserve it,having said that we could have been 4 up at half time(terrible finishing from us)and we were well on top in the second half only for the ref to give a peno yet not explain why.
I won't say yhe refs name as it was said in the report I gave on the match when it was played.I take nothing away from croom, its not there fault we missed chances nor was it there fault the ref only played 40 a side and they will be the ones that are punished if they get anything less than a win in the replay
