If we knew we would fix it - haha!! We won our first 13 games and have won 2 or 3 of our next 13. Its baffling - the same 18 players still training every week. It is year 1 of a completely new squad, so we will improve again. We arent too far away as our recent games against the 4 teams above us will show - Drew with fairview, lost to a pen to Rylane, beat Kanturk earlier in the season and dominated for an hour last night.Quote:

Congrats to Carrigtohill on reaching the AOH Final. Delighted for the club. Well deserved.
Tower have had a great season and to go unbeaten in any league is impressive shows what a strong team they have and belief in themselves . To go out week in week out and get the results is massive and a credit to both management and squad . Ourselfs and Coachford have done our best to keep in touch and put pressure on Tower but have fallen short . We lost 4 games in league 2 to Tower lost to Coachford and lost to los Zarcos at start of season and ourselfs and Kilumney shared the points . Looking back if buts and maybes we left the Los Zarcos game behind us and we should have beaten Kilumney and we should have done better against Tower but Tower did the business against us . Saturday is a big game for us we need the 3 points for promotion and of course no club likes to lose at home and watch another team be presented with the cup so we will be going all out to win and of course Tower will be going all out to wrap up the league and stay unbeaten . Both games between us this year have been good affairs with good football played from both sides so hopefully will be a good game for a neutral so call away down to Innishannon !!!
Free weekend this week myself so I'll be down for a look alright unless something comes up between now and then. Looking forward to it actually, know a fair few players on show and it will no doubt be a good game between 2 good ball playing sides. Some top players between the teams too who shouldn't be playing in division 3. Let's hope the weather stays goodQuote:
