Just over 500 in Finn Park tonight I'd guess.
Would that be up or down on your usual nigel ??
Including a group of school kids that were in tonight. I guess we'll have to wait and see on the official attendance. Was up a bit on the usual though.
472 official figure at Finn Park (excluding about 70 schools kids)
Sligo sold out last week, or are they all holding out to watch the Champions in a couple of weeks?Quote:

Just to get this out of the way, I absolutely condemn racism but there is sometimes an alarming tendency to look for a racist element where none exists. I remember a few years back when Stoke were in the Championship, the pundits on a highlights show were laying into the Stoke fans for chanting "you black *******" at Michael Ricketts, when they were, in fact, shouting "you fat *******", which stemmed from his brief time as our resident-pie-disposal-man-come striker.
1300 at us V Patricks tonight as per the DFC website. http://www.dundalkfc.com/report-dund...etic-june-2011
Prob 100 from Patricks.
By now he should be able to take abit of stick from us. I didnt hear any racist comments at all, a few shouting ya fat ******* and the likes but nothing of racist note.We should take him out for a drink to show what really nice people we actually are.
Back to the actual topic, around 4,000 in Tallaght, maybe just under by my estimate.
I wasn't there but Zayed can be a bit over -sensitive in my opinion. Saying that, if there was racist abuse then the scumbags responsible should be kicked out of every ground in the country. Zayed does not do himself a lot of favours though; he complains a lot to the officials, team mates etc. Take how he carried on up in Dundalk a few weeks back.
There was no racist comments toward Zayed. He should be able to take a degree of stick from opposing fans. Obviously not of the racist kind as that's completely unacceptable. This thread has gone way off topic anyway.
Still never a penalty.
A group of us from England were at the Salthill Devon v. Monaghan United game last Saturday. There were a few late comers, but after a few counts we settled on an attendance of 100. There were 10-15 from Monaghan.
848 limerick shels
about 400 at the RSC for the game v Salthill.
2,459 in Tallaght.
About 12 from Galway.
went down to Cobh last night for the A Championship game agsinst Shamrock Rovers. bought 130-150 at it. don't know why they aren't in the first division
on an aside Rovers number 7 was the best player on the field, small stocky winger. scored a cracker, seemed to have a bit of an attitude but definitely one to keep an eyey on. was two very young teams playing
We have surprisingly loyal home support considering our woeful run of form, but our away support is the worst in the Division.
About 120 at Mervue vs. Youths, horribly wet evening and lack of cover helped make it probably the most unappealing football game in the world, so really anything over 100 is a great achievement. 10 from Wexford.
1567 in the showgrounds
I'd say around 1,000 at Bray v. Bohs on a terrible evening.
Derry V The Big club 2,059
614 brave souls in a rainy Terryland for the 14th loss in a row.
Well in fairness about 150 of them were there to see Pats go 13 unbeaten
3 goals is the mighty tally GUFC have scored at home all season and still 500 galwegians come out to look in a week when the county is in a state of convulsion over the hurlers
2,500 (estimate). from extratime.ie for Rovers V Dundalk.
Drogs v UCD - around 500 or so I'd say, Drogs v Pats around double that.
Would have thought the Tallaght crowd was slightly bigger than Friday so maybe closer to 3,000.
