massive game for both sides,celtic need a result be it a win or a draw to be real title contenders and town need all 3 points,with an fai game next week im sure town will be desperate to have the pitch playable

desperate to have pitch playable for match tomorow or fai game sunday week, if game goes ahead tomoro i fancy town to nick it and gain revenge for defeat earlier in season to celtic, a team with aaron moroney,tony scully,barry ryan and ian barnes has serious experience with alot of goals init.
dont think anyone from clonmel celtic is gettin carried away just happy to be where we are, just a progressive club and things are goin well at the moment regardless of the result tommorrow. ya see there are clonmel celtic, old bridge, wilderness, redmondstown and other teams from in and around clonmel. and each is as valid as the next.Quote:

i think all games were off. Hoping rustyness won t effect any of our teams next week in fai but i presume all leagues around the country are in same boat with games off so its up to clubs to get lads back up to speed at training this week. Our four prem teams left in fai have great chance of going far this year.
The weather is to stay the same into next weekend, pitches will be so deeply frozen it will take a while for them to thaw. F.A.I games could be under threat!
We'll have the undersoil heating on all week ;)
i would agree that any of our teams could on their day beat any team in the country regardless of their league or reputation
Anybody here Muiris Walsh tipping Celtic to win the league last night? I was surprised that as PRO of Town he would say that. In saying that, Celtic are in a great position
With Town out of the running, he was hardly going to back Saints now was he?

surely tsdl will call of all games for sunday today or tomorow. instead of leaving it to the clubs to do it themselves sunday morning
big weekend in the tsdl,town and celtic outcome will give the title race an interesting look and villa saints all be it a cup tie will show us where both sides are at,im hearing conflicting reports from saints,some say they are training like mad while others say things are not going well,sunday will ultimately give us the answer to that

as a town fan i can tell you that the standard of teams we have been playing against lately has been terrible, we have been walkin through games, and thats without aaron. very important we get him back for this big 1
looked at the website and as i thought villa are at home to saints,also town have beaten saints away and villa in the munster,definitely not poor opposition

james o sullivan sent off as well for town so he will also miss the fai game,town will count themselves lucky stephen ryan and richie ryan were not red carded as well,referee and his officials hads a very bad afternoon,celtic deserved better
and darren burns should have gone for eye gouging. It's bad when town resort to that. Town showed today what a dirty team they really are. This tie needed a top referee, not one who quakes in his boots when surrounded by town players. They have been getting away with this for too long. We want unbiased refereeing

:cool: IMO at least 4 should have been straight red carded before the brawl. Lewis should use his most experienced refs for these tough fixtures.
I'm glad to hear some people echo my sentiments, especially a town man. I was afraid my comments would seem one sided but I think they are a fair reflection of the game.

Absolute rubbish, Again! the only part of your post which makes any sense is the first sentence. Hadnett and Mckell are two v.good refs. As for the rest....The FAI have reduced their mileage rate for all employees and affiliates from .72c per mile to .50c per mile.It only happened on Friday so how the ref you spoke to knew that "senior" refs are talking about retirement is beyond me!! And Clonmel to Killenaule is 16 miles (aaroadwatch) so do the math, He's down €7. So as usual on this site, people takling about things when they clearly haven't an effing clue!!Quote:
