we must come under 'miscellaneous' in the agenda;)

Napoli in March / April will not be significantly hot, it's a night time kick off anyway. It would be similar to say to the friendly we played at Fulham (vs Colombia) a few months ago...
I think it will be Napoli too, there were strong rumours of this a few weeks ago, and my friends who are from there said they had heard at least one match would be played in San Paolo or San Nicola...
It's out......Caligari....Only joking.
heard today that it is Bari, dont know how true that is yet.
If they have to tell us by the 5th, (which is the latest I've heard of), then thursday is the latest for the Montenegro game if its four days earlier. Could be the reason for current the silence. However if they have to name the Montenegro game on the 1st January, I'd would have thought it would have made sense they'd announce our game the same time.
I got a call from one of the guys that travels with us to say he heard it on the radio this morning.
Montenegro is an away game.

would seem to indicate Bari too. However it is just a messageboard.
This looks more official

Looks like Bari
Anyone jumped in and booked yet.
I'm really tempted to get in and get booking, as there are not many flights to Bari.
Yah but I also booked Milan back in September.
Got Ryanair via Frankfurt Hahn from Dublin for €40 total one way incl taxes and charges. €30 if you have visa electron. That is out Tuesday March 31st.
Please make your own judgements on the reports before booking though. I've limited time to do the trip so have to gamble. The 2nd one I referenced looks pretty official but I've never heard of the news agency before.
Note still nothing on the Italian FA website.
Bari is ok for those travelling to Milan, Easy Jet fly 3 times daily to Bari and Ryanair once a day.
Likewise Easyjet fly 3 times a day to Naples from Milan.
while there is a change of airport it's not as bad as could be!
Find it strange that two World Cup games on the trot are played in what is a backwater of southern Italy.
Claimed in the Bari site it was in La Gazzetta dello sport, but nothing about it on their website. As for the TV station, the Evening Herald was claiming it was Naples last week.
It is in the Gazzetta

However the Bari fans on that site appear to a bit sceptical themselves.
Some of the comments in that thread about the relationship between Lippi and Cassano makes Givens and Ireland look like best buddies.
Mattarese, "the old bloke", looks as if he indeed is the John Delaney of Italian football.

Bari is 558 miles away from Milan so doable my train I suppose.
Stadium holds 58k so should be good from the point of view of getting tickets.
Interestingly they played the Scots in Bari in the last campaign and got the result they wanted.
Be wary about the airports. There are to airports recognised servicing Milano. Linate (LIN) and Malpensa (MXP) the hub aeroport near the Alps.
Easyjet use Linate and Malpensa but according to their website Ryanair are flying passengers to an airport servicing Bergamo, Orio al Serio (BGY) and calling it Milan.
You are right there are return services from this airport to Bari (BRI).
I have no idea where the game will take place I am lead to believe there may be an announcement two months before the date of the game.

It's better to keep with the three-letter code that way service-providers like Ryanair can call a destination what they like but it's understood by the passenger what and where it is.
