[QUOTE=pineapple stu;1127404]Week 3 update. Usual notes apply.
PREMIER DIVISION
Bohs - 2,250 (2008 - 1,993; 2007 - 1,924; 2006 - 1,463; 2005 - 1,976; 2004 - 2,340)
Average is calculated on the two home games so far, 2,000 + 4,000 divided by two= 3,000 ?
The figure of 1426 for Galway-Dundalk was the attendance figure given to me by the club's new CPO. He was asked to go find out the figure and this is what he came back with.
Why do you not believe a word of it. Why does it matter so much to you. Your even going to go up to a steward on the next match day and find out if we do this or not:D Why bother. Why is it so important to you that you must disprove what i said. Laughable really
What advantage does this give them to exagerate attendances anyway. In fairness if you are going to exagerate crowds dont you think they would put them up a bit higher than they have.
The advantage is so you can pretend your club is a viable business. Which it clearly isn't. The only 2 games you're likely to break 1000 for this season is with us :o
id of thought around 1000 for the waterford an shels game myself! decent attendance an ive seen bigger away support XD
Yep, we brought 6 or 7 hundred when we beat you last season. You know that game were you were still in contention yet you couldn't get anyone to go to? :o
So if we add like 50 or 100 on to the crowd like you are making out we are, that will make a big difference will it when it comes to showing we are viable:rolleyes:. And who exactly are we trying to pretend to.
Mate you dont know what you are talking about, you have been to two games against us and your basing your whole argument on that. I know our biggest crowd will be when you come to morton, whats that got to do with what we are discussing. Anyway, its not the crowds at the moment that pay our wage bill its the sponsorship , which is quite good by the way.
I see you failed to inform me why you are so concerned about my little club and its attendances though. Or is it just the usual;)
340 according to extratime was the Longford/Kildare attendance
Next Week:
Cork City v Bray- 2700
Galway v Sligo- 2000
Drogheda v Bohemians- 2500
St Pats v Dundalk- 1700
Shamrock Rvs v Derry City- 3000
Kildare v Fingal- 200
Finn Harps v UCD- 600
Monaghan v Mervue- 100
Shelbourne v Limerick- 850
Wexford v Longford- 550
Athlone v Waterford- 650
Thats what I think the clubs should be targeting for next week
I'd like to think we'd hit the 1k mark. We do for most matches anyway.
Dundalk will take a good crowd to Richmond on firday, we took huge crowds to Finagl and Shels alst season so theyll prob be slighly higher this season! You can expect at least 2000 at Richmond so if the locals turn up!
