Its still a good result for Cork though the players will probably feel they let Hacken off the hook.

Its still a good result for Cork though the players will probably feel they let Hacken off the hook.
In fairness, you'd have taken two score draws at the start of the day.
Two very positive results.
Last 5 Results for LOI clubs have all been 1-1.
*Goes to Betfair to lay 1-1 in Dundalk game
all eyes on the co efficients now:D
Two decent results. Are we making a little progress? I see Pats/Dinamo will be seeded in the third round draw tomorrow. Dundalk/FH will be unseeded and face one of these:
Olympiacos (GRE) 70.940
Viktoria Plzeň (CZE) 44.585
FC Salzburg (AUT) 42.520 or Liepāja (LVA)
Celtic (SCO) 40.460 or Lincoln (GIB)
APOEL (CYP) 35.935 or The New Saints (WAL)
BATE Borisov (BLR) 34.000 or SJK Seinäjoki (FIN)
Legia Warszawa (POL) 28.000 or Zrinjski (BIH)
Dinamo Zagreb (CRO) 25.775 or Vardar (MKD)
Ludogorets Razgrad (BUL) 25.625 or Mladost Podgorica (MNE)
FC København (DEN) 24.720 or Crusaders (NIR)
Connahs Quay concede in the 86th minute in Serbia; 1-0 now
2-0 Cliftonville. Good lead now.
Birkirkara and Ventspils still being held scoreless by resilient Scottish teams; into the second half now
Its actually the 2nd time that all 3 remaining LOI clubs have been unbeaten in the first leg of the Second Qualifying Round in both UCL & UEL. The last time was in 2009, where by odd coincidence, the results were all 1-1 aswell!
Red Bull Salzburg 1-1 Bohemians - Eliminated in 2nd Leg
Skonto 1-1 Derry City - Progressed in 2nd Leg
Valletta 1-1 St. Patrick's Athletic - Progressed in 2nd Leg
Oops. 2-2 now
Clifftonville 2-2 now. Sake
Adam Rooney scores for Aberdeen; they're 2-0 up now.
Hearts still 0-0 in Malta and hibs still losing to that first minute goal against Brondby
Cliftonville losing now
Birkirkara 0-0 hearts is a result.
A better result than West Ham managed there this time last year, granted, but still - the SPL is amazingly muck. Aberdeen had a half-credible title challenge last year. At least Hibs are first Division.
Our record at home I against Swedish clubs (afaik) is 1 win, 2 draws. 4 goals scored, 2 conceded. Hopefully we can improve on this. I think if we can avoid giving away silly frees out wide we'll be ok. We're particularly weak defending from that area. Other than that we won't give many (if any) goals away.
Dundalk could face:
Viktoria Plzeň (CZE) 44.585
FC Salzburg (AUT) 42.520 or Liepāja (LVA)
BATE Borisov (BLR) 34.000 or SJK Seinäjoki (FIN)
Ludogorets Razgrad (BUL) 25.625 or Mladost Podgorica (MNE)
FC København (DEN) 24.720 or Crusaders (NIR)
St Pats could face:
AEK Larnaca (CYP) 9.435 or Cliftonville (NIR)
AEK Athens (GRE) 7.940
Vojvodina (SRB) 7.925 or Connah's Quay (WAL)
Pandurii Târgu Jiu (ROU) 7.076
Lokomotiva Zagreb (CRO) 5.775 or RoPS Rovaniemi (FIN)
Cork could face:
Genk (BEL) 36.000 or Budućnost Podgorica (MNE)
Rapid Wien (AUT) 23.520
Hertha Berlin (GER) 16.035
Rijeka (CRO) 14.275
Arouca (POR) 10.616
Mladá Boleslav (CZE) 10.085
Raging Cliftonville threw away that 2 goal lead now. Hopefully we can get through and get the winners of the Connah Quay game and they manage to sneak through as well
Our best performance of the year. Thought we played very well & Fagans goal was an absolute cracker. It's set up to be a huge night next Thursday with another 230k on the line.
Dundalk will play one of the following from Group 2:
Victoria Plzen
Salzburg 1-0 FK Lepaja
BATE 2-0 SJK Seinajoki
Ludogorets 2-0 FK Mladost Podgorica
Copenhagen 3-0 Crusaders
Champions league draw at 11am, Europa League at 12.
Tough one for Dundalk, though par for the competition obviously.
Could they have a chance against Ludogorets? Drew with Liverpool in the 2014/15 Champions' League group stages, but then lost home and away in the first round of last year's competition.
They have to get through out in Iceland first stu.
Technicalities, Paul! :)
Off to BATE again.
If they both win. BATE are 2-0 up from the home leg against Seinaejoen JK, who were a third-tier Finnish side four years ago, but won the top flight last year. That Finnish side lost home and away to FH last year - so there's two potential re-matches between Dundalk and BATE or Seinaejoen JK and FH.
BATE Borisov if Dundalk get through
Talk of the next round is a bit academic. Dundalk have a big job on their hands next week.
Ah Jayyyzus
That said BATE are arguably the weakest of the seeds in the pot! FH will have a tough game there
Excellent results for both Pats and Cork, give both a great chance to progress. Hope to get to one of the games next week, should be great atmosphere at them.
Vojvodina (SRB) 7.925 or Connah's Quay (WAL) v Dinamo Minsk (BLR) 10.000 or St Patrick's Athletic (IRL)
Great draw for Pats/Dinamo. No easy draws in third round so Vojvodina (or CQN) was a good un
Genk (BEL) 36.000 or Budućnost Podgorica (MNE) v Häcken (SWE) 5.975 or Cork City (IRL)
Not such a good draw for us, should we make it through.
You'd expect at least 1 of 3 to go through. I mean at least one should make it through, it would be a very bad night if they didnt. What are the odds on at least 1 getting through? I'll put a bet on that.
Looking at the draw you'd hope of the one to go through that its St Pats. If the figures mentioned yesterday, then that would mean if they could win the next round too, they would be in for at least:
•Play-off round elimination: €230,000
•Base fee for group stage: €2,400,000
Why are there only 26 member associations:

Those are CL figures you're looking for I think.
Elimination in the last Europa League qualifying round only gets you €240k
Ya thanks, edited, one of those weeks.
its not great really for each round, but better than nothing I suppose.
12 million is huge for group stage participation.
The EL payments are
QR1; €200k
QR2; €210k
QR3; €220k
PO; €230k
For the CL it's;
QR1; €200k
QR2; €300k
QR3; €400k
PO; €3m
So far Pats and Cork have €410k. Rovers got €200k.
Dundalk have earned €300k and will get €250k if they don't make CL group stages
Winning through on Tuesday guarantees them another €630k
Have Dundalk not earned €500k? Do they not get the QR1 money too? Or is that basically the €250k you mention?
