robbed down in corkbeg again
AUL Review after Tuesday's results:
AUL 3A:
This is a real interesting section at the minute.
Corkbeg's win on Tuesday night sets themselves up nicely for the real big one against Pearse next Sunday.
Leaders Carrigtwohill need only a point to clinch the title and if you were to assume hat happening, then, whoever can win between Pearse and Corkbeg will pick up the runner's up spot which would qualify them for the play-offs for promotion here.
AUL 3A:
Tower continued to blaze the trail here and I believe that there is not many people would argue that - they are red-hot favorites now to take the title here.
They have now gone 14 games undefeated.
More next Thursday night..

We had a good 4 2 win today against a very young but gutsy waterloo team we went up 3 nil they came back 3 2 and really pushed us hard but we held on and claimed all 3 PTS . Some old fellow lobbed the keeper from 15 yards inside his own half think I can retire now !!!
You a double for charlie alright oldlegs
Can only see one outcome here lads coacford win here every day if the week!!! Would be good to see ucc take something from Waterloo today in division 3 to help macroom out and bring to the wire!! Would expect crescent to steam roll cloughduv with Blackpool doing the same to ballinahassig
gutsy display from corkbeg this morning away to pearse B put them back in the mix big time with a game to spare, 3-0 winners beg
Both Pearce teams looked like they couldn't handle the pressure this weekend..first the a team and manager who is still scratching his head looking for excuses and then the b team beaten by corkbeg
Coahford drew 2 all this morning lucky to get a draw got the equaliser last kick of the game!
Ya coachford got a header the last attack of the game!
What happened thete fruice. Underestimated them or outplayed?
Will it not come down to there game against each other?
Anyone know who they both have left to play?

Neither this is our third meeting of the season, we drew the first game and narrowly lost the second so nothing to fear.
there was nothing in it in the first half! Los zarcos scored shortly after half time, coachford got level with 20 to go, we went up the field and went back in front, we had a great chance with about 4 left to go 3-1 up I was sure it was in just went the wrong side of the post and then they equalised with the last play of the game!
On the basis of results you would say coachford as we beat innishvilla!
But in reality innishvilla are stronger when they have guys that played up the divisions with knockavilla and innishannon! There expierence counts big time I also felt that innishvillas right full back and right wing are a great combination and they revive great service from there 2 centre backs they try and play all the time!
For me innish should do the business!
When we have everyone we are competitive, we have struggled with players missing for large parts of the season through work, injury and Saturday games also affect us.
We lost 2 nil at home to Tower at the start of the season when they were a much stronger team our second game was away after Christmas lost 1 nil they scored from the spot, we should have got a draw had two great chances, they were a different team that day! We must play everyone bar strand and coachford!
Tower went through a sticky patch after Christmas but are after clicking again now. They are on fire at the moment. They had a few disruptive influences but got rid of them and a real threat again now, some experience throughout the team and some really talented players. Ye will fancy getting a result off them this weekend by the sounds of it
Innishvilla & Coachford must meet once more if my sums are correct. They've both beaten each other 3:0 at home but don't know who gets home advantage.
I think Coachford have the following games:
Innishvilla, Tower & Waterloo B twice. One Waterloo B game is away and from the last 3 games 2 should be away from home as they've played 3 home games & 1 away game in the 3rd round of matches.
I think Innishvilla have the following:
Coachford, Los Zarcos, Strand, Tower & Waterloo - no home games yet in 3rd round of matches so minimum 3 of those 5 games should be at home. Exciting run in - but a shame that 2nd in league only guarantees a play-off.
