think extratime guestimated 1600 at our game in Midleton on Friday, sounds about right.
EDIT : I'm hearing 1300 was the official number given by Midleton FC
1077 at our League Cup game with Pats yesterday
Harps v Athlone - 304
Harps v Longford - (FAI Cup) - 461
The 600 seemed a bit low. I thought around 800 myself. With a lot of games coming up in Tallaght the more fairweather fans are going to be picking and chosing a little bit. I suppose it's a pitfall of success that people will look at a game like Athlone in the cup and think "is it worth €15 to see half the reserve team dismantle a shockingly poor first division side?".
When I saw 600, I thought the game was in Athlone.
600 in Tallaght for an FAI Cup game!? :eat:
I thought Shamrock Rovers got 3,000+ for every game? :confused2:
I don't think since the East Stand has opened that there has been a crowd of less than 3000, so you'd have thought right.
What about games V Bray, Drogs and Lisburn?
Best way to settle it whats Rovers average attendance and whats Sligos?
Wouldn't know the GAA teams attendances to be honest. Think there was about 7,000 at the Leitrim game there the other Sunday.
Was myposts transporter malfunctioning for the game or something?
Im not sure if it was mentioned but at the town harps game last friday the attendance as confirmed in this wks longford leader is 400..
Cork have a good friendly lined up against Birmingham. They should be able to get a good crowd for that. The away manager had some good words:
'This will be an important part of our preparations and the facilities at our disposal will be top class. Cork City is a club, like our own, with a long and proud tradition and I know that its young squad is highly regarded.'
Cork City is a franchise not a club.
540 in Tolka tonight for game against Mervue.
1900 at Dundalk V Drogs according to the website.
695 in Terryland.
1225 at UCD v Rovers.
2046 at the Cross.
and no one wants to pay €17 to Platinum one to see Birmingham
1386 in Dalymount
