I saw all 3 Limerick based matches....Aisling were far superior against them out in LIT..They got their tactics spot on and destroyed them on the ground and with pace....The same goes for the Fairview match.Balla were no match for the view on the deck and couldn't handle their pace and movement off the ball..
They were, however, unlucky against Carew Pk.. The match could have gone either way but it seemed Lady Luck was shining on Carew for their first ever match at their new grounds and were just destined to win..
Still think Balla will be there or there abouts come May - as the obvious lack of fixture congestion will help them over the likes of Pike, Fairview, Aisling and Regional
hard to see balla winning anything this season in their current state.out of the two big cups it will be interesting to see how they react.
What are the fixtures for this weekend lads, any interesting games?
only one game down this weekend,Wembley V Carew

saw balla against fairview in league earlier in season, wit full team balla won 1 nil and should have had couple more. with full team they could beat any team in limerick.
on another note think its a disgrace all these players supposedly swapping teams. things dont all go their way and they jump ship to teams in better positions. small bit of loyalty.
Does the table not show balla 2nd?
What i don't agree on is clubs having games the same day as the Oscar Traynor matches when they have players on the panel!
Going on previous experiences I'm assuming these players would be disciplined by the LDMC if they took up your option of 'club comes first'.
I'm assuming that you would forego the oppurtunity to represent your league and chance playing for your club instead???
i think its fair to say at this stage that theres no point in namin teams that are gonna go down, only 3 points between 7 teams. as bad as teams are at the moment it seems to be tit for tat when they play each other with teams takin points off each other. a lot of people wrote off carew park (including me) and then they pop up with a couple of good results!! it makes for very interesting times!!
players won't be going anywhere until th transfer window opens again. think it is january, anyone confirm?
Can anyone tell me how Ian Bennis is playing this year for pike
any predictions for carew against wembley sunday?
i take from that comment the fact you often put another code instead of playing for fairview rests well with you.arrogent players rarely become successful ones, guerin is to be commended for representing his league and city,by all accounts he was excellent for the OT on sunday...pity you cant say the same then again you were hardly asked.
id agree with you there abbey road, understandable if a player has work commitments,or just doesnt have the time for personal reasons e.g kids, family.your also going to have the few individuals who dont see eye to eye with a manager and they may opt out which i suppose is fair enough.id agree with you that playing for your city/league at a national level should be something every player should aim for.after all its in competitions like oscar traynor that players are spotted for international recognition at junior level.as a previous post said striker 9 is talking himself up some amount for a man who turned it down.i bet theres others who turned it down who you dont here a thing from.get over yourself bud, your going on for the last few weeks now about "how you were asked and turned it down".starting to sound like a broken record.im sure the squad will do ok without you.you obviously have notions about yourself.
well he (striker9) could go on and show us up and how great he is by playing for the ot team but then he'd have to reveal himself and risk being laughed at by most the people on this site. as most would agree the current ot team is possibly as good as it gets with the exception of maybe one or two. just dont understand why any one would choose not to play for the ot team
