After blood, sweat and tears (literally), my multimedia degree show installation is finally complete and in place. Had a bit of an issue with technical assistance that I'd been continually promised for the past two weeks on Monday morn but it never arrived as the 10AM deadline passed, so I had quite an ordeal stressing out and trying to sort matters. Thankfully, the issue was eventually rectified yesterday morning by my tutor. Delighted with how it's all worked out though and can relax now without having to worry about impending deadlines and the like. Praise the fupping Lord!
Here's my online profile for the show: http://degreeshow.mmu.ac.uk/2013/DanielCollins/

I'm very sad about being called an idiot by an Athlone fan.
This comes only a few days after a Longford reporter called me a ****** on her Facebook page.
Something weird in the water in the midlands.
What did you do just before that incident
I'm not entirely sure.

Excellent stuff again Gareth, but holy feck, Denise O'Flaherty is horrible to listen to, especially when she talks about Longford.
Yes, it is a mystery alright!
Meh..
Saw a disabled woman shuffling back to her car at the shops yesterday. Not that old - 60s maybe - but with a zimmer-frame type thing, and shuffling quite slowly. Recovering from a crash or something possibly.
Anyway, she'd parked taking up two non-handicap spaces. I found I didn't entirely have a ready response for that.
Brigitte Bardot was some fcking ride. Jaysus.
Pics or GTFO !

The fight broke out at around 9.15am when parents were bringing their children to schools and child-minding facilities in Doon, Co Limerick. One eye-witness said: "It was surreal, unbelievable. They just went at each other. Biting, scratching, pulling hair, kicking, everything, you name it.
"They were beating the heads off each other. The next thing the tops were pulled off each other and then a bra went flying through the air.
"You would think that this would have stopped them, but not a bit of it, they kept at it.
"It wasn't a few slaps either, this was vicious stuff. There was blood on the ground."
It is understood that the two women involved in the row at Monastery Road last Friday morning, both aged in their 30s, were the best of friends but have had a serious falling out in recent times.
Following garda investigations, two women were arrested on Monday.
They were released without charge with a file to be sent to the DPP.
Irish Legal drafting at it's finest:

Ye, but once they had won the Oceania region they had to play a South American team in a play off which meant they didn't qualify. Now, even though they are bloody ordinary, they have qualified. I know I'm whinging, but the whole qualifying thing is unjust!
I have been thanked a leet amount of times. This makes me happy. :)
You'd probably be really annoyed if I thanked that post right now then.
Supremely hot new girl in work has a bf. :(
And she's 20... So I can't really tap that.
Footee was great craic, highly recommend a trip up there to anyone. I'm also utterly terrible at it.
Typical subtlety from the Aussies! At least it would be funny as you come into land at Melbourne Airport.

am I the only poster who wants to see Stills87, Nash87 & Young87 added as members?
Came in this morning to find my team lead stayed late and did most of the work I had planned for today. I shouldn't be annoyed, but I was really looking forward to doing some angular (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AngularJS) development.
Time to hit CORK!
Hit El-Pietro a slap for me.
Feckin Paddypower casino...whoever put me on there in the first place would want to be shot.
Ventured through unknown wilds today...
The months of stressing have paid off; I was awarded first class honours in my fine art degree. I'm absolutely over the moon. :D
This bunny is kinda cool.

Latest update from the adventures of Acornvilla:
I finished work at around 11 tonight, usually catch a bus back into town, just down the road at 11:15. To my dismay, when I arrived at 11:12 or so, the bus was nowhere to be seen.. I did however see a very pretty Spanish girl get harassed by a young gentleman. He sat at the bus stop shouting at her. It was clear she was uncomfortable as she hurried away from him, and walked towards me. I asked her was she ok. She told me through broken English, that she was at a friends house and needed to get back into town to go home, I explained that the bus was probably gone and that I wouldn't mind walking her home as I was going into town anyway.
The fine upstanding member of society at the bus stop was hollaring throughout, and became somewhat more aggressive in his calls as he realized I would walk her home. I asked the girl (Daniela?) her accent was strong and her English was fairly dodgy, but we chatted. I tried to make sure she was ok, she told me that she had never met that man before, that she was a student here for 2 months to learn English, the usual stuff. Things were going well, but the walk is damn long...
After 20 minutes or so, I hear the lad from the bus stop call at us, and call again, and again... He had seemingly been following at a distance. He was walking pretty quickly, demanding she tell him what pub they had been in. The girl obviously had no idea who he was, or what he was talking about.. She had told me she had been to the cinema and then a friends house all night. I'd tend to believe that over the drunken ramblings of a scumbag. As he drew nearer I told Daniela to walk faster and we'd try to stay ahead of him, but he did the same of course. When he eventually caught up, he started demanding to know what pub they had been in. Screaming ''TINA!!'' at her. I calmly tried to explain that this was not Tina, and that he was mistaken, of course Mr. hoody didn't like this. I did my best to keep us walking and neutralize the situation, but what can you do when you have some drunk scumbag shouting at a poor girl who barely speaks English? At this point she was crying and holding onto my arm...
Yerman then eventually started to square up to me, as I knew rightly was going to happen. He started pushing against me, making threats, so I have him trying to assault me on one arm and a crying girl on another. Absolutely fantastic Tuesday night so far.. Eventually he took a swing at me, and another, both I managed to dodge.. I really didn't want to get into a fistfight with a drunk at the side of the street, I kept telling him I had no interest in fighting him which seemed to **** him off even more. He came at me again and i just pushed him away.
Two men passed by and tried to ignore the situation, but I called out to the one nearest us and asked him to please lend me a hand, which he did, I explained the situation to him all the while I still had that idiot trying to push me and fight me, but thankfully he eventually admitted defeat and knew he wouldn't get anywhere with the two of us guys. He walked away then threatening to find the girl and of course follow me after I dropped her home to ''bash my skull in'' etc. So at this point I tried to call a taxi or two, my options were a tad limited thou, because I just started a new job 3/4 weeks ago, and haven't been paid yet, so I'm totally broke for the moment having also just moved house. 7e I had in my wallet in total, not enough for a taxi. No one was answering their phone, so I went to plan b which was to wake up about the only guy I knew would be in Limerick City with a car.
Niall is now my hero, because he was willing to pick us up and drop the poor thing home. I think I could have gotten myself a lovely new lady friend if I weren't already happily shackled to another poor girl. Just like the movie films I tells ye. :D
That was my night, oh Limerick, Ireland, humans.....
The Longford Jesus (and also part Batman) strikes again. Good man Acornvilla.
Note to self: If ever on a night out in Limerick, call Acornvilla.
You won't need to - he'll find you.
Wheres my medal? Or stab proof vest...
I'm getting awfully sick of people being shíte thou.
You'll get the recognition you deserve very soon - I hear Chuck Norris is getting an Acornvilla tattoo!
