Match is off because pike will be missing players..........if every other team can get away with it why not?

Looked for match off this season a 12 days before fixture. were told by ldmc that once fixture appears on paper matches CANNOT be called off.. Boro v pike appeared on paper yet pike can get the match off because they cant fill a team... why not use b team players or are the b-team just there to get a vote at the ldmc agm...?

yet park can get their match off against pike, yet balla can get their match off against pike. every club is doing it and its been going on for years. Clubs are abusing it because its there to be abused. you shouldn't be able to decide when you play a match but you can. If you can't field a team then give a walk over, the season mightn't last as bleeding long then.

balla were missing 5 players last night that is true and carew park were missing 3 albert slattery, johnny corbett, paddy koyce. in fairness carew did not play well but still got the points if balla are resting a few players for the lawson well there there right thats all balla has left to play for and that is noting to do with carew park.

Balla are a disgrace. Everyone and his mother knew they were going to roll over last night. They did the same last season in 1A against Star Rvs.

the season is not half dragging out !
it might be over just in time for the World cup.

how can some teams that did not get runs in the major cups still have loads of games left.

now it seems you can get a game off if you are missing players ! the league is gone crazy

Hill Celtic's supposed fixtures with Granville and Mungret last wk were both called off cause they were missing daithi noonan..But the official excuse was that Limerick FC didn't want the Hogan Pk pitch worsened than it already is.

Why can't they just use the back pitch for fecks sake. Only in Limerick could mickey mouse junior football be put before the senior game. :ball:

your attitutude to Junior football is exactly what is wrong with senior football in limk. the top junior team IN THE COUNTRY for the past 10-15 years has been a lim team , fairview. what have limk fc been for the same period..?
A Joke, no home ground, sorry tennants of a junior club and the junior league.
9 of the premier league OWN their own ground and are not reliant on Fr Joe for a handout...please go back to your own thread and leave the true football people of lim alone...I hope lim do well this year and maybe with a bit of co-op with the lim junior teams young players might progress. I dont expect this to happen as limk fc only want to take from local football and not give anything back......

Carew are awaiting planning permission for new facilities..(objection lodged againist) not sure on the situ with Balla and bateman, Hill celtic and hogan park. as far as i know the other 9 clubs own their own facilities.. pls inform if this is incorrect....

balla are an absolute joke regarding facilities.
no one at all connected with the club has any idea of where the club will play in the future.
as far as i know there are no plans to construct anything notable.
last i heard was that LIT has now been taken away from balla.
who runs this club ?

Balla have been a shambles for years and will continue to be. They used to have a fine club house years ago but drank it dry then burnt it down. Says it all really.

Just heard Pike are holding an emergency AGM tonight..problems in the club, Pa Mul stepped down as manager last night, I beleive this to be true because of who told me...anyone hear anything.

All tables and fixtures (Including games off) are posted on the website www.ldmc.ie The comments re the LDMC are a bit wild but you guys must remember that you are all members of clubs and it is the clubs who decide who is elected so get yer fingers out and get active in your clubs for change.
