Castleview away to Douglas Hall Sunday morning, should be a good test of character after the Mayfield defeat in the Inter Cup!!

Tough game indeed Billy, this will show how both sides are shaping up even if it's very early in the season.
Good win for Rockmount away to Corinthians. Almost identical to the View game BB, College Cors went 1 up against the run of play. Mount missed a spotter and then hit back with Alan Martin and John Busteed goals to win 2-1
Anyone know who won between Ballincollig AFC v St Mary's in Munster Senior Cup first round??
No result on Monday's Examiner that I could see, so don't know if it went ahead.
What's everyone up to this weekend? We have UCC I think on Sun morning.
From today Avondale Utd 4-2 Blarney Utd
UCC must have been short players, called off the game late Sat night even though Mount saw the pitch during Sat and it was fine. Joke. The MSL are a joke.
There is prob a legitimate excuse all right, just smacked of a panic postponement as they could have pulled it during the day, but didn't when the pitch was looked at..no harm done.
Like to wish the MSL team all the best in Donegal this weekend, Patsy has gone about things in a very professional manner as always and I hope he get's the rewards due to them despite many last min absences.
Think they got to play the LSL tomorrow.
MSL lost 2-0 to LSL in the semi yesterday, won 2-1 today in the 3rd/4th place play off.
Its am improvement from last years 7-0 drubbing, things are looking up.;)
That was 2 years ago, do keep up....
Rockmount won today 3-1 at home to Tramore in the league. Steph got two, Willie B got the other one. Windy conditions, good game of footie though.
Donie Forde Cup Semi Final
Castleview 1-2 Avondale Utd.
Beautiful sunny conditions meant that this was the spectacle we all expected.:D
Dale went ahead, View came back with a pen and then a late late free kick sealed a final place for next Tuesday week.
Castleview v UCC thursday night with Everton at home on Sunday. At last some League fixtures!! Rockmount are away to Douglas Hall on Sunday and UCC on Tuesday night next. Avondale have College Cors on Sunday I think and Mayfield/Tramore Tuesday night at The Cross.
Mount are home to Blarney on Sun and away to UCC on Tue, already played Douglas Hall away, drew 1-1 first game of the season.

So lads need some info..
How good are casement celtic must be half decent if they knocked out Midleton who are in a higher league..we have them in the Intermediate Cup next round..
Belgrove should have no probs with Casement, Rockmount beat them easily enough back in September, Midleton aren't great these days. Physical side, strong through the middle.
Thanks Clifford - Hopefully we'll past the test..!!
Maradyke indeed, they have an advantage I suppose but they're not as good as they were in recent years. I reckon Rockmount will beat them next week, Castleview no excuses really they should have beaten them on the night. What can I say I'm going to be bias when the referee sends off three of own players but there was just no need for it.
Indeed, 3 is an amazing amount to be honest. Not heard of such messing for a long time. Was there linos as well for that game? It doesn't seem to be improving the standard in my opinion.
Who was reffing it?
Were they straight reds?
Heard Patsy got the line as well.
Dale beat UCC in the Intermediate Cup and they didn't look great to be honest.
Guinness House last night with the victorious Avondale Utd Intermediate Cup winning team. Good Night.
There was linesmen alright, in fairness it was all the Refs own show. I don't know his name but he's well known. He's a kind of chubby, tanned man form the Northside I think. One was a straight red for saying to Ref "your a joke" after sending the other two off for two yellows.
Patsy gets the line every week, very hard for him watch that **** going on and say nothing, you'd think he'd be use to it by now!!
Bad day at the office for Dale today, went down to their 1st league defeat of the season 3-1 to Douglas Hall. Missed a pen at 3-1 as well.
Who took the pen Razor? Who scored for Hall?
Mount fought out a tough tough 1-1 draw with Blarney yesterday morn in windy Rockmount park. Went one up 10 into second half Ross O Callaghan slotted home well. Then the ref went to town on Mount and eventually awarded a free where Edwin fell over his own laces and they scored from the resultant cross. Mount should have won it in the end, but Blarney were decent.
UCC away tomorrow night and Munster Senior Cup in Clonmel for Mount on Sunday.
Yeah, just saw de paper, I was hoping Marky sull would have bagged one!!

Just back from the Maradyke, Rockmount won 2-1 on a cold night. Ross O Callaghan got the 1st mid way through the second half after Mount had been the better of two very good teams by a small margin. UCC lost a man after a stupid second yellow, yet a free was headed home with three mins left by the centre half wearing 5. It looked like the points had gone for the Champions, but no-one told the bold Willie Byrne who stepped up in the second min of stoppage time to bend a free kick straight into the top corner. Happy days as the Mount go top alone for the first time this season.
All matches off this weekend, season could run into July at this rate.
Munster Senior Cup Last 16.
Avondale Utd 0-1 Passage
Dale rested 5 or 6 first teamers and paid the price.
Even enough game to be fair, both keepers busy.
Rockmount 2-1 Douglas Hall
Hall took the lead early on with a mistake by Mount defence - good finish by Hall player. Mount were out of sorts, lucky to see a goal chalked off two mins later to go 2-0 up. Second half different story Beechinor scored a cracker and hit the post after a great move and the ball rebounded in off the defender.
Mount v Waterford united in next round apparently.
