Solid young Centre half that would be a great signing for Waterford IMO,loads of potential and can score goals too.

Was a little hit or miss with us this year. Has bags of potential however and if he improves on certain aspects on his game - namely his concentration - then he could be a good Premier division defender in a few years time. Would be a good player for any first division team and would be a good move for Waterford.
Karl Sheppard to Shams....
Can anyone access the PFAI list?
Jesus any Bray fan would know that Devo has put serious money into the club over the years, sure he doesn't even take a penny in expenses or wages from the club for Donkey's years. He has done more for our club than anyone else, time for new blood to invest instead of relying on the sam epeople all the time
Devo is a man who owes nothing at all to Bray Wanderers. He deserves a statue in the town.
Heard Tipton has signed for Portadown
Byrne and Quigley signed by all accounts!
Just told that Kenny Browne has signed with Waterford :)! If that's true that us a major major signing for us!
Seen him during the cup semi final of 2009 and he stood out as a defender that could pick a pass and good in the air: remember thinking at the time he would be worth offering a contract. A little suprised hes gone back to the FD, seen him a couple of times this season and apart from a boo boo back pass in the semi against Pats seemed to do Ok. How was is season overall is the question I suppose?
Edit: Wasnt he the FD player of the year 2009
They might even score against pats next season!!!

Reading the rumours on here, even those about Harps, is a bit unsettling. This could be one of the toughest ever years for LOI clubs- commercial revenue is incredibly difficult to come across so clubs will be more reliant on gates than before. This year has been relatively stable (i.e. most clubs have kept their problems in house) but if clubs aren't careful next year could be carnage.
Of course every club will claim their getting their signings for relatively small wages. But we've heard that before.
Thomas McBride (Ex Derry) rumoured to be signing for Monaghan!
The last i heard was that o'neill to Rovers was a done deal.
Think the difference these days is the money simply isint there. Therre will be no sugar dadys handing out cash like years past. On top of that its a buyers market at the moment and if players want to keep playing football they will have to drop their wage expectations.
This is the main problem. Everybody can say their club aren't paying out big wages but no one really knows what the clubs are paying. Only what people might be told they are paying. Every year we hear people say their club have slashed their budget etc... but then 6 months down the line are still in trouble and wages are not beng paid.
I think everyone has to admit the first thing that comes to mind when their club sign a big name player is how we are affording him, or i wonder what he is on that we managed to get him. Everyone fears that there club could go belly up no matter how well they are being told their club is run.
Robbie Keane today signed a five year contract with Sporting Fingal. He said 'this is a dream come true for me. I've been a massive fan of Sporting since I was a child and my father used to bring .....wait a minute, Sporting Fingal?, I thought my agent said Sporting Lisbon'.
