some big matches coming up knock v hospital, Hospital v Caherconlish, Cappamore v Knockainey,
these are huge matches points dropped for any team involved could drop them out of the promotion race it will be interesting
There are some good refs Rooney10, I think Rob Hennessey is decent to be honest. Power is ok too. I think a Ref that can explain their decisions is always a help. Danger used quite a few expletives this season in games I've seen him ref. He is very abusive and I fear he would make players give up the game.
I've seen a lot of refs in the past who might not get all decisions correct, but you knew they were honest lads. Noel Dunphy is one for example. When I played many moons ago, I always liked seeing him turn up as he was always pleasant & a good laugh and would explain why he made decisions.
1B is extremely competetive but I'll just about go for Caherconlish to win the league and Knockainey to finish second. I also acknowledge that there are so many big games to referee that is so difficult to get it right all the time, but having seen this particular ref referee 7 clubs in 6 games in 1B this season, unfortunately I cannot think of anything positive to say about him.
shock result there for athlunkard ,anyone at that game?those 3pts vital for herbertstown so well done to them.looks like the lish and knockainey for promotion but as athlunkards last few results have shown someone might slip up.
knockainey 1-0 hospital.
Tight game with the goal coming from a free kick in the last ten mins.

caherconlish won 5 1
caherconlish 5-1 cals ... lish 3-0 up at half time 2nd half was much better from cals but the lish where to strong for us
good result for clish keeps them right up there fair play to cals never gave up chased everything until the final whistle best of luck for the rest of the season
what a great division its been this year ,still 6 clubs in with a shout of promotion.
Table updated above
Massive fixtures coming up..........
If Pike win Sunday (which they should) then one or more of the teams around them are certain to drop points.
Fixtures
Sun 10/04/11
Herbertstown v Cappamore, (I reckon Herbertstown could get a point from this game)
Bruff Utd v Knockainey, (Knock win for me)
Hospital v Caherconlish, (Hospital must win this game if they have any hope of promotion, but I think it will end a draw)
Pike Rvs v Caledonians, (Pike win)
Tue 12/04/11
Cappamore v Knockainey, (Draw)
things just have not being going right for bruff we took the lead yest and had a chance to make it 2-0 a player 1 on 1 with the keeper n skinned the post bruff were controlling the game for first 20 mins after that in the next 15 mins pike score 4 goals a mixture of bad defending and luck for pike..no excuses tho pike were the better team on the night..bruff will need some big results to stay up with 3 local derbies left to play..bruffs main problem all yr is getting a regular team each wk its dif players in dif positions every game and players just not having interest would rather go 2 a GAA training session then to a footie match jst dont think luck has been with bruff atal this season either we have played good in quite a few matches n deserve more then just 3 wins but this is the way football is and we jst gotta hope we can stay up and focus on next year ..
we out of the race fairkop id say 4 teams left but if knock beat cappamore tue then its prob between pike lish and knock.... we have had a bad run with some injuries at the wrong time but we just havent been good enough in our last few games ...dromore were missing players as well when we draw so no exucess. v supprised that bruff are in the bottom 2.
if pike get promoted, how will they keep all the players, as far as i know they cant get promoted fromm 1a. what incentive is there for them to play in 1a.
Pike beat Cals 6nil - fair play to cals for giving us a good game and been commited from start to finish.
heard caherconlish won 1nil
bruff 2 knockainey 1
great win for bruff were 2-0 up and controlling the game left in a sloppy goal with 5 mins left but held out to win.if we can get this team every week we shud def stay up
Cappamore 3 Herbestown 2.
Great win for us today with some very good goals. Could of won by a few more but we will take the win. Fair play to herbestown took their goals well. Half time we were up 2-0. 3 games to go and 3 wins a must. Big match tues for us.
Yup Caherconlish beat hospital 1-0
Can anyone put up a table? After today's results there must be more twist and turns

That's Hospital's promotion chances gone now. Tuesday night's game should be a cracker between Cappamore and Knockainey, 2 good footballing teams in fairness. A draw would bring Athlunkard back into it, in saying that though Athlunkard would need to win all their remaining games to have any chance, wouldn't put it past them
Look again............Athlunkard can only reach a max of 37pts, Pike are in second place on 38pts already.......therefore Athlunkard cannot get promoted this season.
Promotion from 1B this season is between the top 4 as they stand in the league, with Hospital having the slightest of outside chances (but seems very unlikely)
