The club Twitter account tweeted it so that’s as official as your going to get I’d say…..

Longford v Bray was significantly much less than the first day v Cork. There was I reckon 6/7 Bray fans at it. It makes it much harder when there wasnt an announcement maybe 400 max!

Amazing that Drawda produced an attendance figure for the free in game v UCD but are shy every other time ��

I don't think that ground can cater for more than 2,200-2,300 or so these days with H+S, I would think 2k max last night, if 800 DFC, then 1,200 is a good turn out by home fans.

However not sure this was full, even seemed a good few rows empty in the small stand, and the home side (tv camera situated) didn't look full to capacity?

I don't think you're going to get official attendances for the Brandywell.

FWIW, every game so far has been sold out. So that's 3,700 (minus non-ticketed attendees, if needed).

Most people I have ever seen there. Seating area was basically full. Free admission. Great to see the number of kids at it.

Makes sense why the first attendance figure from Brandywell was given as 3,235 then if there's that many complimentary tickets uncounted. It's all I got this season that looked semi official.

Ok Oriel i'd go2300(capacity) so based on the fact that the attendance v UCD was 2024 and there was a helluvva lot more in attendance on Friday night. (BTW,i was also at the Drogs v UCD match)

Main stand holds just under 1,000 and looked about 80% full to me so while 1,240 looked off I would have put it around 1,100 myself

I keep records of crowds at our games for the match programme.

I'm not sure where you got the Bray v Galway estimate of 400 from but I have that down as 750. I could be totally wrong but I doubt it was below 500.

Athlone v Galway I have estimated at 600 - obviously difficult to tell when you're actually in the stand.

Bohs v Shels I think was a sell-out - so whatever Dalymount holds these days. 3k or so. Away section was packed and Jodi seemed pretty jammed too.

UCD v Shels - 1400 sounds about right as an estimate.

I suppose it had nothing to do with the free pints 'offer' for season ticket holders and a free bar in the club house after the match allegedly? :confused:

Out of interest do any clubs with bars still do a dual pricing system for members/non-members, or even have members only bars. If not was it done in the past?

The Glenmalure Suite in Tallaght swings between being for Members only some of the time and including STH sometimes...depending on expected crowds

Super crowd that to be fair, saw the photo online of the 1 or 2 Athlone fan(s) online (and good for them too for going), but this is just brilliant for a FD match.

Only saying to a mate earlier, if DFC were in FD v Athlone, no way would we get much more than 1.5k, unless it was end of season job and going for title.

Cork City will be a very welcome addition back to the PD.

Definitely.

I have to say I feel sorry for supporters of Athlone and Wexford, who have to put up with a lot of sheer drudgery following their clubs but still do. Not in great numbers, but that doesn't take anything away from those who do make the effort (for little reward). I also feel a bit siorry for Cobh fans, though they at least have a decent ground and a centenary year to look forwrad to, plus there seems to be more of them as well.
