I agree somewhat with this post, there is a bit of snobbery sometimes looking at other teams facilities and it's funny in some ways because I doubt many of the people very much involved at the start of brickfields are on this forum. Of course the other side of it is that maybe it's no harm to be shaming clubs into improvements
Our field is not great, small and rough, and although that may have suited the way we played five years ago, it doesn't suit the way we are trying to play now. It's frustrating enough but you have to make do and to be honest it's funny sometimes knowing teams dread coming to us
It all works in a circle though, if the facilities improved then the standard of football would soon follow. Also it might make a few players more inclined to choose soccer over the gaa
