You obviously have not watched Shels play since O'Brien took over

Yeah the football absolutely is better than duffs version
Interesting one by Dundalk today, safe to say a real surprise.

Cobh signed Rhys Brennan on loan for the season from Bohs. Have to imagine someone will be replacing him in the Bohs squad soon cause it leaves the attacking depth a little light and it was light already.
Anyone know if Cian Bargary has re-signed with Cobh Ramblers for the 2026 season or if he is playing for anyone this season! I can't get any answer from the Cobh club.
Vinnie Leonard leaving Dundalk for Norwich in the summer
The DFC ex CEO was part of the negotiations, Peter Halpin, he has a biz that promotes sports sponsorships, so hopefully on top of this initial 400K cash deal will be a sell on clause % and other add ons.
Good move for Vinnie, super player.
Sean Keogh and Vinny Leonard gone for decent money. Mayowa, Kenny , Spaight and Mulligan all played decent roles last year.
Despite all the turmoil in the club in recent years, something has gone right at that level.
What club is Sk at now Kiki?
Brighton. His younger brother recently signed from Shelbourne and was on the bench vs Derry.
Dundalk actually have a huge catchment area if they play their cards right. Keogh is from Skerries, while Mulligan is from Monaghan for example, Leonard from Meath, Spaight from Dundalk (Blackrock really).
Cork City FC announce the signing of AJ Bridge a midfielder on loan from Norwich City. The 20 year old is on a loan deal up until June when a review will be done to extend the loan deal.
Cian Bargary has just joined Kerry from Cobh.
Rovers have signed ex Waterford player Tunmise Sobowale on loan from St Mirren till the summer and announced him in a let’s say… unconventional way which has now been deleted by them for obvious reasons :Dhttps://x.com/irish_buds/status/2024...697335828?s=46
Classic LOI
In classic LOI fashion, Pats named a lad on the bench called Yssouf Soro from the Ivory Coast last night, but have still not announced him as a signing and there’s nothing online about him when you search his name which would suggest he wasn’t playing at any sort of decent standard but we shall see… They’ve done that before, naming a new signing along with the matchday squad update to I guess spring the element of surprise on the opposition, but in this case not announcing him at all is pretty bizarre
Ha wouldn't surprise me!!!
Has James Brown signed for Pats?
They seem a bit unsure themselves as they just deleted a video of is potential announcement.
Shels have recalled James Roche from his loan at Athlone after just two games. Barrett, Casey, Mbeng all went off with injuries on Friday night and Norris is currently injured so it's look Shels are in a bit of bother at the back for the next while
Browne signing confirmed , be interesting to see how he fits in , will there be a change to a back four , Boyce at right back and Browne ahead of him ?
Zane Myers signed from Hull.
No idea about him tbh, but competition for Rooney, Parsons. Also plays left back, we've gone from having no full backs to a glut of them

I know we were after him before he went to the UK, but it does seem a little strange to sign him now, having brought Boyce in. With Elbouzedi on that side too can they all fit in ? It looks like its the other end of the field that we need players, rather than at the back.
Potentially having a winger at left back and a right back on the wing would sum up how messily our squad is assembled once again.
I just hope Kenny has a plan for this signingand its not just one between boyce and brown start and the other is back up. Kenny is known for wanting two senior players for each position. Waste of money when you have one of the best academies around.
Like my point earlier, he's ruining the pathway to the 1st team and it's something we have come to heavily rely on for financial reasons.
I always chuckle at these signing quotes from randomers from the UK or further afield about how excited they are and what a "huge club" their new club is. The latest being a lad who's just signed for Shels until July, but there were similar words from someone Bohs signed earlier on today.
James McManus has gone back to Sligo till the end of the season. Strange one seeing as he started the Pats game but he hasn't got a sniff since. Lots of competition in there now though tbf.
Frantz Pierrot signed for Galway
Weren't Bohs fans hinting (online, pinch of salt etc.) that he was going their way over the last few days? Big coup for Galway if they've chinned Bohs to a signing of Pierrot's calibre.
If he hits the ground running and reproduces his Drogs form, he could be a game changer for Galway. Fancied them for the drop before a ball was kicked because I didn't see where their goals would come from - this could change things big time though.
