BTW, do Bohs have 12 subs on the bench? Is that the new covid standard for Europe? Seems excessive.

Another big point for the co-efficient.
Going by the yellow card count only it must have been a feisty enough affair!
2-0 to the Andorrans away in Albania; winners play Rovers next.
Wonder what the odds on that were? :)
The Andorrans were nearly 6/1 before the game, perfectly legitimate upset I’m sure!!
It is actually far shorter and narrower than Dalymount Park:
101m x 64m versus Dalyer's c. 114m x 68m
Great to get an away win. Goal was all about the pass from Devoy. A beauty.
These Luxemburgers sound like a right shower of c*nts too both on the pitch and off it - they actually were filming the game (see LukeO's twitter).
A great win for Bohs, I wasn't expecting that at all, hopefully they can go on and beat them again next week.
Watching Teuta v Inter myself and it's a fairly poor standard game, Rovers won't fear Inter at all, if they can defeat Slovan, Inter shouldn't pose too much of a threat one would feel.
I checked it earlier and it said Dudelange 1-& Bohemians
That's fairly accurate for Aertel.
Decent win for Bohs though, especially as UEFA.com (powered by Aertel) says ye didn't have a shot on target all game! :p
Another tough match in prospect next week especially with Dudelange further into pre-season, but 8k home fans will certainly help a lot.
Have a sneaking suspicion that dundalk will get done tonight in tallaght against Levadia.
Heard they didn't even sell out their allocation of 1k..dundalk will be like the Marie Celeste soon.
Looks like Rovers will play Inter anyway. Anyone know if any of their current squad play for the national team?
Ildefons Lima still playing with them.
He gave Andorra the lead in Lansdowne Road in a World Cup qualifier in 2001
And they've equalised. Patching
Absolutely mad opening!! Each teams first attack was a goal, Levadia nearly got a 2nd there!
Also, our 18 signs and crest seem to have been covered by accident at the tunnel?
You do remember that we spent a decade in the 1st Division!? Current circumstances are a bump o the road in comparison. I dont feel any sort of confidence about this game at all unless they are very poor which is unlikely. We will get caught out for pace at centre back, unless Abibi has a really turned his game around it may be quite chastening. The main thing going forward is that there is no shortage of European experience in the squad.
Larne 2 nil up against AGF from Denmark. Linfield winning too. Do these lads not take holidays anymore 😜
Lot of mad results this evening. Lincoln from Gibraltar well in their tie against Cluj from Romania; just 2-1 down. (Rovers could yet have to get past a bye, an Andorran team, and a Gibraltar team to make the group stages)
HB from the Faroes 2-0 up against a Montenegrin side.
Breidablik from Iceland drew away to Austria Wien.
Makes Bohs' result look normal :)
Thanks to a Bohs friend of a friend I have got my ticket again for next wk without having to go on ticketmaster and I only have to pay for one portion of the ticket which is brilliant. Really looking forward to heading up again next week as Bohs are a great team to watch imo!
What are Dundalk doing.
2-2. This could finish anything
What you don't care to respond to a fact based narrative, that I think addresses my assertions
the move to four teams hindered our european development.
progress since has been slow, but we're, maybe, seeing signs that we're moving toward where we should have been before the change.
Let me I tell you, I am shocked. I was looking forward to enlightened discussion about why we're not causing as many upsets now as the time we caused a few upsets. Paired with why this season is the worst league standard ever.
If you can spare any I told you sos until after the second legs, I'll bring the cheese, you bring the...
Your "fact-based assertions" backed up my point, Mouse. And I showed that in post #521. That's your stats backing up my point. Though funnily enough, you quickly stopped referencing them once that was shown.
So between that, and repeatedly not reading my posts despite being asked, and misquoting me, and your patronising tone throughout, and saying you weren't looking at individual coefficient figures when you were, and generally not really being sure what point you're trying to make in the first place, I'm out.
If you want to debate the point civilly and sensibly, let me know.
What's the story with Michael Duffy? I didn't see his name on the injury list?
UEFA.com saying Tallinn have scored with their only two shots. We've already seen that it maybe isn't that reliable, but is it Dundalk pressing for a winner and Tallinn happy to take an away draw?
UEFA’s match info section is shocking this season. Teams who have scored goals showing as 0 shots on target. It’s like they are not counting goals as shots on targets!
2-2 a result now. You'd probably have taken a win and a draw at the start of the day, albeit that you'd have seen them coming the other way around.
Let's see what next week brings, though looks like two more tough ties ahead.
Well, Rovers have it fairly handy next week I guess!
I'm not sure levada were always close games I think ( bar cork). And with the way Dundalk have been it's a decent result. No matter how often you keep playing the same teams(from one league v another) you won't always get through. I think Dundalk will do well to make it through this round , same for bohs too
Interesting slovan held young boys scoreless last night. Bradley was looking forward to seeing young boys
Well not bad in the end. Better side second half and put Levadia under a good bit of pressure and they were happy to see out the draw in the end. This Dundalk side is still building confidence, bit brittle, but had enough experience to not completely panic. Coming from behind twice is not something youd have thought could happen based on earlier in the season. Thought the Estonian subs were a but odd, throwing on 2 strikers, a winger and an attacking midfielder later on when under sustained pressure - looked like they wanted to finish off the tie against a tiring Dundalk side thats thin on numbers. Tbf they did get chances after the changes. The persistent fouling was effective by them and broke up momentum, argument for sin bin type system. I think if McEleney had gone to ground in that late tackle over the ball rather than playing on it probably would have been a 2nd yellow for their captain. Id have hoped for 1 of the 3 peno shouts to have stuck. All things considered id have taken 2-2 before the game, maybe have a couple of lads ready to come back for next week, Sloggett and Murray with more recovery time eg. The difference Perth has made in a matter of weeks is pretty impressive, a month ago if we'd conceded that early we'd have shipped 2 or 3 more. Zahibo was a passenger imo and we looked far better with Sloggett on. Hopefully he will start with Stanton, Patching continuing to show what he can do, real graft on the wings even after the blow of losing Duffy prematch. McMillan running the line was excellent and McEleney showing flashes of his creativity. Heat in Estonia is hardly going to be much different than here recently so may be a help in not withering late on. Reason to be hopeful but its the hope that kills!
