thefirstrow.eu is working grand.
Rovers playing well... more than holding their own but maybe not quite deserving to be in front just yet...
Some number of current viewers on that stream.
Makes you wonder what kind of viewership RTE could have gotten just having it on the RTE Live platform.
3000+ barstoolers watching that stream:D How come RTE decided not to show the game? decent game thus far.
Just turned on now. Does the quality improve as you watch or does it glitch all the time?
Good pressure from Rovers.
i cant see them scoring. not done enough. its hard to gauge how good the lithuanians partly because of the bloody stream. There close control in midfield and on the wings looks decent, but their full backs dont look any great shakes.
0-0 will be enough for them to go through though.
Rovers really deserve to be ahead at this stage.
turner must have no left foot.
Finn could have had two. First was a tame effort when through and the second off the Woodwork.
thats an awful miss.
Finishes 0-0. How Rovers didn't score, I do not know...
Commentators nice and lively about the game. Shame that the feeds so jumpy but not surprising when theres near 3800 watching it. Good game, Rovers shouldnt be too disappointed by the result.
Those missed opportunities could come back to haunt Rovers in the 2nd leg.
Extremely frustrating that Rovers couldn't force a goal in the last 15/20, 2 or 3 unforgivable misses but they can take some positives out of that display, Dennehy should surely start in the away leg, once Rovers started using a bit of width, the chances started to come. Ekranas were happy with a 0-0 draw from a long way out. They showed enough on the counter attack in the earlier stages of the game to suggest they will cause Rovers defence problems in Lithuania but Rovers can progress as long as they don't self-destruct as they have been doing in the league.
Somehow I feel Rovers will pay for those missed chances and get edged out over there. Really hope I am wrong.
Funny thing about Rovers in Europe the last 2 years, was they tended to perform better away from home in nearly every game.
Hard luck but sometimes u just have to put away them chances... hopefully can nick an away goal, it will be tough, they could be a different team at home...
In other news RB Salzburg lost to Luxembourg opposition... shocking. In fact unseeded Albanian team beat Debrecen, seeded Israeli team lost, TNS holds Helsingborg nil all,
I can kind of appreciate more how supporters of clubs are bothered by the success of clubs in Europe unless their own. Having taken in a Limerick game recently, I'm more interested to see how they get on in their promotion push than how clubs are getting on in Europe. At the same time, I do hope South Dublin Rovers make it to the next round, and the same goes for Sligo Rovers and Pat's.
most importantly, I hope that guy who was telling people to lump on rovers losing took his own advice :D
Apart from the finishing it was a pretty damn good performance from shams, nothing to fear, can see them getting a score draw away.
Will there be any streams for the Sligo Rovers match tomorrow?
46' AEL Limassol 2 - 0 Linfield
Edit:
FT Limassol 3 - 0 Linfield
About right, little surprised its not more but Limassol will prob win in Windsor too.

Tough enough games this evening for Rovers and Pat's. Both their opponents were runners-up in their respective league. Still they are good games to be involved in. Homing for a good European night for the league.
Neither's an easy group, though some good pay days - Hannover means money from TV, Liverpool means a bonanza (crowd and tv). Would almost back Sligo against Dinamo Moscow, especially at home.
Rovers group in the Cl (should they get through)
RSC Anderlecht (BEL)
FC BATE Borisov (BLR)/FK Vardar (MKD)
F91 Dudelange (LUX)/FC Salzburg (AUT)
CFR 1907 Cluj (ROU)
The New Saints FC (WAL)/Helsingborgs IF (SWE)
Good luck to Pats and Sligo tonight.
